Ray Quinn ‘blagging’ on Dancing on Ice

Ray Quinn feels like he's "blagging" his way through 'Dancing on Ice'.
The former 'X Factor' contestant is a hot favourite to win the all-stars series of the ITV skating competition after wowing the judges every week, however, he admits he isn't as confident on the ice as he seems.
Appearing on ITV's 'Daybreak' today (25.02.14), he said: "I'm definitely blagging it. You're living on the edge on the skates. There's so much to think about. It either happens or it doesn't, that's the thing."
Meanwhile, Ray - who got into shape for the new series using Forza T5 fat burners, which helped him drop two stone in eight weeks - says he is living in the moment and isn't considering the thought he and skating partner Maria Filippov may win the series.
He said: "I try not to think about it, to be honest. The nerves are there anyway and you're anxious about going out and doing something that's out of your comfort zone anyway so there's a lot to think about. It sounds stupid but I live like a dog - I live in the moment so I live in what is happening now and what I need to do now, and then once it's done it's in the pocket."

Bad Education to end after three series

'Bad Education' is set to end after three series.
The BBC Three sitcom starring and written by Jack Whitehall will come to an end after one more series, the 25-year-old comic has confirmed.
Jack told Time Out magazine: "I'll be doing one more British series of 'Bad Education' but then that will be the end of it.
"[It's] my decision. Never say never, but I think three series is probably enough."
'Bad Education' has aired two series and a Christmas special on BBC Three and Jack - who also stars on Channel 4's 'Fresh Meat' - is currently writing the third series.
The comedian recently filmed a pilot episode for a US remake of 'Bad Education', which he described as "fun" and "weird".
He previously said: "I filmed a pilot in America and now some other people will decide whether they want more. It was fun, it was different ... it's always weird doing things in America and adjusting to it."
The final series of 'Bad Education' will be filmed this summer and air on BBC Three later this year.
Jack said: "I'm writing some more as we speak, we're going to be filming in the summer."

Michelle Keegan turned Mark Wright into drag queen for new show

Michelle Keegan talked Mark Wright into becoming a drag queen.
The 'Coronation Street' star - who plays barmaid Tina McIntyre in the ITV soap - persuaded her fiancé to dress up as a woman for his new reality TV show 'Party Wright Around the World'.
In the new series, the former 'The Only Way is Essex' hunk travels around the globe and attempts to organise wild parties for groups of friends.
However, in the opening episode, the 27-year-old star is knocked out of his comfort zone when he lands in Miami, Florida, and stays with two gay friends who try to get him to dress up for a cabaret show.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: "I tried to get out of it. I spoke to the producer and someone at ITV. But they all wanted me to do it.
"So I said I wanted to speak to Michelle. I honestly thought she would tell me not to do it but she just laughed!
"I'm glad I did it. I had the biggest hair, the biggest lips. I looked like Lily Savage."
Despite admitting he enjoyed exploring his inner femininity, Mark insists he would never do it again.
He said: "Will I do it again? No way. That was a one-take wonder!"
'Party Wright Around the World' hits screens tomorrow (26.02.14) at 9pm on ITV2.

Piers Morgan to concentrate on Life Stories

Piers Morgan will concentrate on 'Life Stories' following the axe of his US talk show.
The 48-year-old journalist, whose CNN show 'Piers Morgan Live' was cancelled amid low ratings yesterday (24.02.14), is set to hammer out a new contract with ITV to continue fronting his British show.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper before CNN announced the end of his US show, Piers said: "I haven't signed up for more 'Life Stories' yet but I am sitting down with ITV in the next few months. My contract runs out in June but I have done all the shows under that existing contract.
"We will sit down and talk about the future. But I want to do more. I have got plenty of offers to do stuff but I have a good relationship with ITV and we are both keen to keep it going.
"As long as they are popular and people like watching them, we will keep doing them."
The former 'Britain's Got Talent' judge also says he hasn't ruled out a reunion with his former co-stars Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden on the talent show's judging panel.
He added: "I would never say never about going back to 'BGT'. I did ten series of 'BGT' and 'America's Got Talent', and that is a lot of judging. I did run out of things to say but I would like to work with Simon again."

Jack P. Shepherd doesn’t like new Corrie set

Jack P. Shepherd doesn't like the new 'Coronation Street' set.
The 26-year-old actor, who plays David Platt in the ITV soap, has revealed he is not a fan of the show's new state-of-the-art set in Salford Quays, Greater Manchester, because there are more stringent security protocols the cast and crew must adhere to.
Quizzed if he liked the new set, he said: "No, not really. It's little things like every single door you need to have your security pass with you. The set's exactly the same ... the street's slightly bigger but it's just cold there - it's like a wind tunnel around [Manchester's] Trafford Park."
The star recently welcomed his second child, son Reuben, with fiancée Lauren Shippley - with whom he also has a five-year-old daughter, Nyla - and the couple have been inundated with gifts from his 'Corrie' co-stars, including on-screen mum Helen Worth (Gail Platt).
He told Britain's OK! magazine: "Jane [Danson] got us a gift voucher for Mothercare and Helen bought him a coat and some jogging pants. Sally Dynevor got him some babygros and a shirt. They're all good to us."
However, Jack says his co-stars are more "colleagues" than friends and he doesn't usually interact with his castmates outside of work.
He explained: "I get on with everyone at 'Corrie' but they're colleagues. I'm not one of those people to call up and ask how people are, I don't text anyone to see how they are - even with my mates. I'm not a flaky friend, it's just a boy thing!"

Corrie stars spend thousands on decorating

The stars of 'Coronation Street' have spent thousands of pounds decorating their new dressing rooms.
The long-running ITV soap's cast were reportedly unhappy with the standard dressing rooms they were given upon moving to a much larger set in Salford Quays, Greater Manchester, and have lavished their private quarters with ornate items such as chintzy chairs and futons.
Soap veteran Barbara Knox - who has played Rita Tanner for over 40 years - has even put up wallpaper in her dressing room to give it the feel of her previous room.
The new dressing rooms were originally furnished with basic items such as a wardrobe, chair and a mirror surrounded by lights.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Some of the cast are quite happy and have kept the rooms as they are but some of the bigger name stars have gone about changing theirs.
"Barbara wasn't prepared to keep hers as it was and embarked on a big refurbishment. She bought in her own wallpaper, which 'Corrie' staff have put up, as well as a nice chair in order to re-create the feel of the room she had at the old studios.
"She spends a lot of time in there so wanted it to be nice."
Meanwhile, a 'Corrie' insider says the soap's stars are able to make changes to their dressing rooms as they wish.
The source said: "Cast members can put their own stamp on their rooms."

Cheryl Cole to be only woman on X Factor panel?

Cheryl Cole will only return to 'The X Factor' if she is the only woman on the panel.
The pop princess has allegedly told ITV bosses she will only reprise her role on the judging panel alongside Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and a mystery fourth mentor if she is the sole female.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "If Cheryl does come back as planned, she will be the only woman on the panel. That's how she wanted it and at this moment she seems to be calling the shots.
"They're still finalising the other details but Cheryl made it clear she didn't want to be pitched against another female again."
The Girls Aloud singer is rumoured to be in final talks with Simon and is expected to return to the UK show for the first time since 2010.
She famously fell out with the music boss in 2011 when he unceremoniously axed her from the US version, but the pair met up in Los Angeles earlier this month to negotiate a deal, said to be worth £2 million.
Sources also say Olly Murs, one of the most successful 'X Factor' veterans ever, is likely to replace Gary Barlow on the panel, although Simon is now apparently toying with the idea of signing up superstar Lionel Richie.
The insider added: "Olly is practically a surefire bet. But Simon could also surprise everyone by signing up legend Lionel.
"They're pals and last year's contestants even moved into the crooner's old house for the duration of the show."

Mary Berry doesn’t keep in touch with Bake Off stars

Mary Berry doesn't keep in touch with 'The Great British Bake Off' contestants.
The 78-year-old star, who judges the BBC baking competition with Paul Hollywood, says she doesn't want to appear to be picking favourites among the contestants and so chooses not to correspond with them after they leave the show.
She explained: "It would be nice to still be in touch but I made the decision at the outset that if I was in touch with one person and told them their book was good, another could say, 'But Mary has never contacted me.' It's lovely to see them at the BBC Good Food Show when we all meet up. It's like your children. You love your children equally. I love everyone who has been on 'Bake Off'."
However, the TV cook is good friends with 'Bake Off' hosts Sue Perkins and Mel Giedroyc, whom she regularly keeps in touch with even when the series isn't filming.
Mary told new! magazine: "They bring out lots of humour, and away from filming we're always playing pranks on set! Paul loves his cars and once we took away his keys. I didn't actually take them, but I was very encouraging for it to happen!"

Millie Mackintosh doesn’t hang with Chelsea stars

Millie Mackintosh doesn't hang out with her old 'Made in Chelsea' co-stars.
The 24-year-old beauty quit the E4 reality show last year and although she insists there is no bad feeling between herself and her former castmates, she doesn't speak to them very often.
She told Britain's HELLO! magazine: "I wouldn't say I'm not friends with them. I don't call them up and say, 'Hey let's hang out', but if I bumped into them I'd say hi."
Millie is grateful for the show because of the opportunities it has given her.
She added: "Doing the show was such a good opportunity for me because it opened so many doors."
And Millie - who is married to Professor Green - went on to hint she is launching her own fashion line.
She said: "I can't give too much away but I feel very lucky now I'm in a position where I'm in the process of designing. I'm definitely heading in the direction of creating my own clothing line."
Millie's passion for fashion has come further since leaving the show as high-end designers are more willing to lend her items.
She said: "It's really nice to have such amazing brands wanting me to wear their clothes. When I first started out, literally no one wanted to dress me. It's the reality TV tag. I find it disappointing but I understood there was stigma attached. I find it less and less now."
