'The Big Reunion' girl bands could be in line for their own tour after being snubbed from the upcoming boy band tour.
5ive singer Scott Robinson claims bands including Atomic Kitten, Girl Thing and Eternal may embark on their own tour following news that concert promoters have decided to cash in on strong ticket sales among women by launching a tour solely featuring boy bands such as Blue, 5ive, 3T, Damage, A1 and 5th Story.
He told BANG Showbiz: "I'm sure there's talks ... I'm sure the girls will get an opportunity to do a tour as well.
"At the end of the day, we're excited about this tour, it's great for the fans to be able to see the boy bands together as a collective. And if there was a girls tour, it would be the same for people wanting to see the girls. I'm sure there'll be other shows where we inter-mingle again."
'The Big Reunion - The Boy Band Tour' will take place in October and it seems there may be some competition among the bands over who will headline the concerts.
Sean Conlon of 5ive said: "In reality, it'd have to be 5ive or Blue. I'd edge towards 5ive. Blue have been touring on their own, we've been lucky enough to do our own theatre tour in England and Australia, so we've got a lot out of our system. We can't believe we got to play an arena tour last time. It's more of a bonus, really, that we're getting to do this."
And the bands haven't ruled out joining each other onstage.
Scott added: "Antony [Costa] might come and do a song with us one night, and I might do a couple of songs with Blue."
Tickets for 'The Big Reunion - The Boy Band Tour' go on sale tomorrow (22.03.14).

Joey Essex could get his own TV show in the style of 'An Idiot Abroad'.
Bosses at ITV2 are "desperate" to sign him up to a full series after the success of his one-off documentary 'Educating Joey Essex', which saw him travel to Africa to learn about different cultures.
The former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star is being lined up to appear in a programme which will send him around the world, similar to Karl Pilkington's adventures in the hit Sky 1 show.
An insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "It's early stages but it rapidly became clear while filming 'Educating Joey Essex' that it was going to be TV gold and ITV2 is absolutely desperate to get him signed up for more.
"The show is going to be like 'An Idiot Abroad'. Think Joey being dumped in the middle of a remote part of Australia or in the centre of buzzing Tokyo - it would completely blow his mind.
The source added: "Joey loved filming his show in Africa and he is up for anything, really - even going to places he cannot necessarily pronounce."
The 27-year-old star has also released his 'Essex Anthems' compilation CD, which is set for chart success, and his autobiography will be released in May.
Meanwhile, Joey's former 'TOWIE' co-star Mark Wright is struggling to pull in viewers for his new show 'Party Wright Around the World' after figures dropped from 350,000 for its first episode to 206,000 last week.

Cheryl Cole will make a malaria appeal on Sport Relief tonight (21.03.14).
'The X Factor' judge is urging viewers to give at least £5 in an effort to prevent the disease spreading further through Africa after she was diagnosed with the deadly condition - which is transmitted by mosquitoes - in July 2010 when she returned home from a trip to Tanzania.
Cheryl's condition was so serious she was given just 24 hours to live by doctors if she didn't respond to treatment.
In a video message, she explained: "When I climbed Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief five years ago it was honestly one of the hardest things I've ever done.
"The motivation lay in knowing it could help in eradicating malaria and ultimately saving lives by providing mosquito nets.
"I didn't for one minute think that only a year later, I would get malaria myself and become so ill that, at one point, I was given 24 hours to live.
"It was the scariest thing you could ever imagine for me and for my friends and family. The pain I felt and went through, it's what so many people go through, all because they don't have a mosquito net which could save their life.
"I was lucky, I had the best care I could get. Some people are not so lucky. A £5 mosquito net could keep a child safe and really does help."
The 30-year-old star - whose lungs became filled with fluid, while her liver grew to three times its normal size while ill - is trying to reach out for help because the cause is "close to" her heart.
She added: "I've decided to speak out about this again now because, having experienced it, it's obviously very close to my heart and I want people to know how easy it is to help."

'The Voice's' first live show could be set for chaos with four contestants struggling to sing.
The BBC One talent show will begin its first round of live sing-offs tomorrow (22.03.14) as the quarter finals take place, but four contestants are in danger of being sent home as they've been taken ill.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Everyone's drinking lemon and honey, snorting Vicks inhalers and getting early nights - it is hardly rock'n'roll."
Jamie Johnson and Lee Glasson - who are being mentored by Kylie Minogue - have been joined in the sickbay by Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson's contestant Christina Marie and Sir Tom Jones' protégée Sally Barker.
All four wannabes have been told not to rehearse as BBC bosses are worried they won't be on form for the live show.
will.i.am has so far suffered no blows to his team, which includes Iesher Haughton, Sophie May and Jermain Jackman, but with three contestants left on each team and four people set to be sent home, each team will be cut down to just two singers.
Tomorrow's first live show will see performances from US superstars Jason Derulo and OneRepublic.

Charlie Brooks loves that Janine Butcher has got away with murder again.
The 'EastEnders' villain was cleared of murdering husband Michael Moon in last night's (20.03.14) dramatic episode of the BBC One soap, and Charlie - who is set to leave 'EastEnders' following the conclusion of the storyline - is glad her character was found not guilty.
Janine previously got away with murdering first husband Barry Evans after pushing him off a cliff in 2004.
Charlie told the official 'EastEnders' website: "I love that she's kind of getting away with murder again ... I love that.
"But the fact is that it was self-defence and that he would have killed her if she hadn't have killed him. And there I go defending her again but it's true."
Charlie previously claimed she hasn't ruled out a return to 'EastEnders' in future as she'd hate to not play Janine again.
She said: "I've loved my time on the show and I would hate to think that I might never get to play Janine again. However, it's time for a new challenge in my life."
In addition to Janine, co-defendant Alice Branning (Jasmyn Banks) was found not guilty of murdering Michael in last night's episode.

5ive's Scott Robinson has branded Nick Lachey a "d**khead".
The 34-year-old singer has hit back at the former 98 Degrees star, who recently labelled the 'Everybody Get Up' hitmakers "the worst boy band of all time" after the two groups butted heads while touring together in the 1990s.
Scott exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "If you want to quote me, the guy's a d**khead!
"The only reason Nick's saying anything is because he's desperate for a bit of press because he's not doing anything at the moment."
Scott's bandmate Sean Conlon appeared to be oblivious to Nick's damning comments in an interview with US talk show 'Watch What Happens Live' earlier this week, and Scott was only too happy to fill him in.
Scott told his pal: "Nick from 98 Degrees - you won't remember them because they were s***e - but Nick was slagging us off to the press saying we were lame. He's the one with the 98 Degrees tattoo!"
The singer added: "If I'm going to be completely honest, the only reason he's saying that is because we were on the Smash Hits tour with him. There were three bands - he was one of them - and 5ive won the tour, so we won the award, so he's upset. He had bigger muscles than me but he didn't have the award."
The 5ive stars also quipped that Nick, 40, is desperate to join 'The Big Reunion' in a bid to boost his career.
Scott teased: "He probably wants to get on 'The Big Reunion' ... he wasn't asked and he's really p***ed off about it. He was on a small telly programme in America and he thought, 'Oh, I know, I'll mention a bigger band than I'm in and get some press.' "
5ive are set to join fellow 'Big Reunion' groups Blue, A1, 911, 5th Story and Damage on The Big Reunion - The Boy Band Tour in October. Tickets go on sale on Saturday (22.03.14).

Johnny Vegas is to return to 'Benidorm'.
The 42-year-old comedian - who starred in the ITV show from 2007 to 2009 - is set to make a comeback to the sitcom next year as his well-loved character Geoff Maltby, alongside Crissy Rock, who will play Janey York again, and Elsie Kelly as Noreen Maltby.
Show favourites Sherrie Hewson, who plays manageress Joyce Temple Savage, Tim Healy, who plays Les/Lesley, and Jake Canuso, who plays hunky bar worker Mateo, will return to the Spanish Solana resort as usual.
The ITV director of entertainment Elaine Bedell said:"After another successful run on screen we're thrilled that a new series is about to start shooting on location in Spain.
"We're equally pleased that some familiar faces from the Solana's past will be making a welcome return to the sunshine."
Meanwhile, Sheila Reid who has played acid-tongued, chain-smoking Madge Harvey in all six series is set to leave the show next year along with her co-stars Siobhan Finneran, who plays her on-screen daughter Janice Garvey, and Steve Pemberton, who stars as her long-suffering son-in-law Mick.
Their teenage son Michael - played by Oliver Stokes - is also being written out, but script writer Derren Litten has promised the well-loved family will leave on a high.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "It's a huge shame the Garveys are leaving because they've been in every series and the fans love them, but writer Derren Litten is excited about their exit storyline.
"He wants them to leave with a bang -- though he'll definitely leave the door open for them to return."

will.i.am was starstruck by Joanna Lumley.
The 'Absolutely Fabulous' legend spent four days at 'The Voice' coach's home in Los Angeles for her new TV documentary, 'Joanna Lumley Meets will.i.am', and he admits he was taken aback when they first met because he is a fan of her champagne-swilling character Patsy in the sitcom.
He said: "I was a fan of 'Absolutely Fabulous', but her acting was so freakin' out of this world that I didn't realise she was the person who played Patsy. The first time I met her I thought, 'Oh my gosh, you're the woman from Absolutely Fabulous!' "
And the 'Bang Bang' hitmaker is also a fan of Joanna's most recent role opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in a big budget movie.
He added: "She was really good in 'The Wolf of Wall Street'."
will admits he had to ask his mother for permission to invite Joanna, 68, to their home in Los Angeles for the documentary because his family is incredibly private.
He explained to Radio Times magazine: "I'm private because of my mum. The neighbourhood we came from wasn't pretty an she raised us not to share with people the things we hold scared.
"I speak to her every other day and there's certain things I still have to ask her permission for. I wanted to do this documentary because it's rooted in my charity work."

Les Dennis can't wait to film scenes in the Rovers Return.
The comedian is set to join the cast of 'Coronation Street' as Michael Rodwell, who is introduced when he burgles Gail Platt (Helen Worth)'s home, and he says he's incredibly excited to shoot a scene in the ITV soap's famous pub.
He said: "It's been a complete whirlwind. I got the call to come in on a Monday, then did a screen test the following week with Helen Worth before filming. That was awe-inspiring - but when I get to enter the Rovers, I'll be like Charlie in the chocolate factory."
Les, 60, is a life-long 'Corrie' fan and was like a kid in a candy store when he arrived on the cobbled set in Manchester.
He revealed to Inside Soap magazine: "I've loved 'Coronation Street' since I was a kid and watched it from the beginning. When I got here, I was thinking, 'I don't know if I'm allowed to take photos or anything!' I was kind of trying to behave. But I now have a picture of myself outside the Rovers, which I was thrilled about.
"Walking down the corridors and seeing all the actors' names on the dressing room doors, I was gasping. All those legends!"
