Kirk Norcross: ADHD made me hate myself

Kirk Norcross says suffering from attention attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) made him hate himself.
The former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star was diagnosed with ADHD, which causes hyperactivity and impulsiveness, when he was in school and he found it difficult to control his behaviour.
He said: "I knew what I was doing but something would definitely come over me and I'd just see red. It was so weird. For instance, I'd go to kick the door a little bit, but actually it would end up being totally smashed up."
The reality star is still approached by former school mates who remember him beating them up and he still feels "so embarrassed" about his actions.
Kirk added to Now magazine: "I'd fight my mates for no reason. I remember at my 16th birthday my mate ate some of my cake, so I really beat him up. Afterwards I was so sorry and had no idea why I'd done it.
"I hated myself and I still do. Sometime I'll bump into someone from my school days and they'll say to me 'Do you remember when you beat me up?' I feel so embarrassed."

The Voice’s Will.i.am wants feisty contestants

Will.i.am wants 'The Voice' contestants to fight for their "passion".
The star is a coach on the TV talent show, and he suggested his three starstruck contestants - Sophie May Williams, Jermain Jackman and Iesher Haughton - have to be ready to "argue" if they think they know best.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper's TV Magazine, he said: "None of them would argue with a seasoned professional. It's as if they haven't been out in the world yet.
"There's something beautiful about that greenness but, at the same time, there's something fragile about it too.
"When I was their age, I would argue. I was like, 'This is what I want to do. There's nothing you can tell me about my passion. I'm gonna get there.' "
The Black Eyed Peas singer cares about the hopefuls on his team, and Sophie May insisted he is "super intelligent" when it comes to giving advice.
She added: "He's super intelligent. When he talks to me I'm like: 'I wonder what's going on in your brain?'
"He said to me: 'You know what you're doing, I'll just guide you.' "

David Beckham helps Sport Relief to £55m mark

David Beckham helped Sport Relief raise over £55 million for charity last night (21.03.14).
The retired soccer legend appeared in a sketch alongside 'Only Fools And Horses' stars Sir David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst as the popular sitcom returned for a one-off special.
The trio were part of the biannual telethon, which raises money to help vulnerable people in the UK and Africa.
David Jason - who was back in his role as Del Boy in the sketch - had revealed the reunion came from David Beckham making the suggestion.
He explained: "He said he had always loved 'Only Fools and Horses' and that it would be great to do something with me and Nick. So then the grapevine started to work as these things do."
Hosts for the huge event included Gary Lineker, David Walliams, Fearne Cotton, Jack Whitehall, Claudia Winkleman and Davina McCall.
Celebrities and sports personalities underwent a series of challenges to help encourage people to donate to the cause, including TV presenter Alex Jones, who raised £1.3 million when she climbed up a 1,300 foot crock in Utah.
She said: "I'd bitten off more than i could chew. I was petrified."

Sam Bailey: Pregnancy hasn’t ‘hit me’

Sam Bailey's pregnancy still hasn't sunk in yet.
The 2013 'X Factor' champion - who recently discovered she was expecting her third child - has claimed the news hasn't "hit" her, and admitted she thinks the baby was conceived on New Year's Eve.
She told BANG Showbiz: "It's not hit me yet that I'm pregnant. I'm three months, so I've got six months to go ... I'm pretty sure it was New Year's Eve.
"It was before we went out, before I performed at G-A-Y. It's a New Year's Eve baby."
Despite her recent rise to stardom, Sam insisted she won't be looking at employing a nanny to look after her children - daughter Brooke, eight, and son Tommy, five, with husband Craig - but she will be playing her mother to accompany her on tour to help out.
She added: "I'm due October 3rd. My mum's going to come on tour with me [in January] to look after the baby.
"I'm going to pay my mum's wages for a month so she can come on tour with me ... I'm not getting a nanny. I'll look after my own kids ... I won't be taking mega amounts of time off because I've got great people around me and supporting me.
"I need to be there for a certain period of time with the baby, but it's not like I'm flying off the Cambodia and staying away from home. I've got a great husband he's a great dad who's great at looking after babies."
Sam's debut album 'The Power of Love' is released on Monday (24.03.14).

Kylie Minogue to quit The Voice

Kylie Minogue will quit 'The Voice' after this year's final.
The 'I Should Be So Lucky' hitmaker joined the TV talent show at the beginning of the current series and helped boost ratings, but now she has admitted her touring schedule might not allow her to return as a coach when filming starts again in November.
She told The Sun newspaper: "I'm touring later this year and the timings wouldn't work.
"We started filming in November last year and I'm on tour in September, October and November this year ... I have loved doing the show although there have been parts that have been really emotional."
Asked whether she would go back if the BBC changed the filming schedule to fit her in, Kylie said it was something she'd consider.
She added: "I would have to think about it."
With the show selling itself as a competition purely about vocals, the 45-year-old star has insisted sexiness also helps.
She explained: "Charisma is important and that is often very close to someone being sexy."
Meanwhile, the BBC has revealed they will do their best to "accommodate" Kylie's tour dates as they plan for the next series.
A spokesperson said: "We are aware of Kylie's commitments and are looking to accommodate them."

will.i.am is a CBeebies fan

will.i.am watches CBeebies.
'The Voice' star has revealed he loves watching children's programming first thing in the morning before he starts his day.
He said: "In the morning I watch CBeebies - that's what I like to wake up to. Is that weird?"
The Black Eyed Peas star splits his time between London, where he films 'The Voice', his home in Los Angeles, and most recently, Australia, where he has signed up as a coach on their version of 'The Voice' with Kylie Minogue.
Quizzed about what he gets up to when in London, will said: "I used to always be in the studio when I was here, but now I go to clubs and eat out with friends. I enjoy seeing Kylie Minogue, but we're with each other so much now that we're both on 'The Voice' Australia as well, we appreciate the time apart."
Starring on two versions of 'The Voice' isn't a chore for the star, however, as he enjoys working with young, talented musicians.
He added to Radio Times magazine: "I do 'The Voice' because I enjoy being around people who have dreams, and I have a record label and produce, so it's healthy for us to nurture tomorrow's artists."

Ricky Wilson loves gay attention

Ricky Wilson is happy to be a gay icon.
The Kaiser Chiefs frontman says he's been getting lots of attention from gay men since becoming a coach on 'The Voice' this year and is only happy to accept the compliments.
He gushed: "I get a lot more attention from men than women. They say, 'You're hot, I wouldn't mind a go on you', which I find a compliment. I find it harder to please the same sex."
However, the 36-year-old singer remains modest about his newfound fame through the BBC One show.
He added to the Metro newspaper: "The thing is, you can put anyone on TV and they can be hot. It's like listening to a song on the radio, if you hear it every day you'll start liking it."
Ricky will be rooting for his three artists - Chris Royal, Christina Marie and Emily Adams - when 'The Voice' goes live tomorrow night (22.03.14) but it seems his good looks are lost on Christina, 20, as she has her eye on the show's host Marvin Humes.
Christina auditioned for 'The X Factor' when she was just 15 in 2008 - the same year Marvin's group JLS rose to fame on the show.
She recalled: "It's weird seeing Marvin again because he and I stayed in the hotel when he was just setting out with JLS. He doesn't remember me but I remember him because I thought he was pretty cute."

Silk to end after three series

'Silk' is to end after three series.
The BBC One courtroom drama will come to an end following the conclusion of the current series later this month, the show's creator has confirmed.
The series stars Maxine Peake, Rupert Penry-Jones and Neil Stuke as a team of expert barristers.
Creator Peter Moffat told Radio Times: "It has been a complete joy to work with a group of actors as good as this and with a lead actress who I consider to be the best there is.
"The main characters in 'Silk' all have personal and professional stories which are coming to a natural conclusion at the end of this current series.
"It would be dishonest as a writer, and unfair to the integrity of the show and everyone involved in it, to prolong the series beyond what I hope is a powerful and compelling denouement."
While 'Silk' is set to end on TV, the BBC recently confirmed plans for a radio spin-off of the show, to be heard on BBC Radio 4.
Three audio programmes will air in the radio station's afternoon drama slot and will focus on the show's legal clerks.
'Silk: The Clerks' Room' will begin on April 1, one day after the TV series ends.

Coronation Street’s Tracy Barlow to wed again?

'Coronation Street's' Tracy Barlow is preparing for her fourth wedding.
Tracy (Kate Ford) recently ended her relationship with Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis) after catching him locking lips with Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan) but the pair have now reunited and could be set to walk down the aisle, despite Tracy's mum Deirdre (Anne Kirkbride) making an effort to talk Rob out of it.
In scenes, which are to be aired next month, she tells him: "I didn't have you down as the marrying kind, Rob. Are you sure about her?
"I love our Tracy to bits but she could start a fight in an empty room, and she's hard work. I see our Tracy as being like asparagus - it's an acquired taste. I love it, but it's not to everyone's taste."
Rob will assure Deidre - who has featured in the ITV soap for nearly four decades - that he is committed to Tracy and her daughter Amy, whose father is Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson).
He says: "I very much approve of the institution of marriage. At the end of the day Amy needs stability. I love them both so I want to look after them."
The wedding may not go to plan, however, as it's been suggested that Tracy may not even show up, as the mischievous couple could be involved in yet another scam.
An insider on the soap told the Daily Star newspaper: "This is Tracy after all, nothing ever goes to plan. Could she and Rob have another scam up their sleeve?"
