Charlotte Crosby proud of bruised bum

Charlotte Crosby wanted to prove how "hard" she was by posting pictures of her bruised bum on Instagram.
The 'Geordie Shore' star shocked fans earlier this year when she shared a montage of her mystery injuries, which included a nasty, purple-coloured swelling on each buttock, and has now revealed she was so proud of her ailments sustained during filming for her new TLC show 'The Charlotte Crosby Experience' that she felt compelled to strip off and flaunt them.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "They weren't filming it, which is a shame because I would love to watch it back. I had a little bit of an accident! I fell down a stone staircase and I split me arm open and I bruised me bum really badly.
"I wanted to show off about it because I felt like I was some kind of hard person. You know when people break their leg and they look really hard, I've never done anything like this before so was like, 'I'm whacking this on Instagram!' I wanted everyone to worry. I wanted to show people that I can handle anything."
Charlotte also set tongues waggling when she shared a snapshot of a red roses tattoo on her thigh, which people instantly likened to fellow Geordie Cheryl Cole's controversial inking, but the reality star admits she actually nicked the idea off Instagram.
The former 'Celebrity Big Brother' winner said: "I saw it on the Instagram popular page and copied it. That is literally all. I did that with me first tattoo as well.
"I know people are saying it's like Cheryl Cole's tattoo, but it was actually some really sexy girl's she was so slim and tanned with big, dark hair. She was wearing a bikini and she had these roses on the side of her hip. It looked so amazing."
But the party-mad brunette insists she won't be following in tattoo-obsessed celebrities like Harry Styles and Justin Bieber's footsteps.
She added: "I don't think I'm going to be getting any more tattoos now, these two will do it. It can go too far, that's it for me."
'The Charlotte Crosby Experience' airs Tuesdays at 9pm from April 29 on TLC.

Fern Britton proud of the Big Allotment Challenge

Fern Britton has compared 'The Big Allotment Challenge' to 'One Born Every Minute'.
The former 'This Morning' presenter likens her experience on the new BBC Two competitive gardening show to watching a baby's birth, much like the popular midwifery reality series, because of the long growing process and the anticipation once the fruit and vegetables are ready.
Fern told BANG Showbiz: "When you pull this carrot from the ground you don't know what it's going to look like, it's like a birth of this thing [the gardeners] have been incubating. It's like 'One Born Every Minute', or [better yet] 'One Pulled Every Minute'."
The series sees nine pairs of contestants given a series of challenges each week, including growing fruit and vegetables, flower arranging, and cooking using produce they grow in their own allotment or greenhouse.
Fern also brushed off comparisons to 'The Great British Bake Off', explaining how many months of preparation go into the art of gardening.
She said: "I personally think it's great to be anywhere near as successful of 'Bake Off' and if it is, then that's great. But if you're doing the 'Bake Off' it's a couple of hours of baking this is four months of getting ready before we've even turned up.
"So there is a hell of a lot of effort these guys put in from March until the end of August."
'The Big Allotment Challenge' airs Tuesday nights on BBC Two.

X Factor musical I Can’t Sing! to close next month

The 'X Factor' musical 'I Can't Sing!' will close after just two months.
Despite only opening on the West End in March, Harry Hill's stage show - which is based on Simon Cowell's TV talent contest - faces its curtain call in May.
Rebecca Quigley, the chief executive of Stage Entertainment UK, told the BBC: "The West End can be an unpredictable place as the closure of a number of high profile productions recently has shown.
"'I Can't Sing!' has had audiences on their feet night after night, four and five star reviews from the critics and an amazing company and creative team, but it seems that isn't always enough."
The show garnered glowing reviews during its run at the London Palladium, but it will end its run on May 10.
Nigel Hall, from production company Syco Entertainment, added: "Alongside Stage Entertainment we'd like to thank the cast and crew who have worked so hard on this show.
"To everyone at Really Useful Theatres and the ever supportive staff at the London Palladium, and everyone involved in 'I Can't Sing!' I'd like to say a huge thanks and the very best of luck with their next venture."

Georgia May Foote to be axed from Coronation Street

Georgia May Foote has been axed from 'Coronation Street' two months after signing a new contract.
The soap star - who plays Katy Armstrong - only recently agreed to an extension on her deal but she was told by bosses they will be writing her out after four years on the show, and while she will be "sorry to say goodbye" she is looking to the future.
According to the Sunday Mirror newspaper, she said: "I have had an amazing four years on 'Coronation Street', I have had some fantastic storylines and worked with some wonderful actors.
"I am very excited about what the future holds. While I will be sorry to say goodbye to Weatherfield I am looking forward to the challenge of new roles."
The 23-year-old star joined the soap in 2010, and was handed a new £100,000-a-year contract in February - only to be axed months later.
However, show boss Stuart Blackburn has confirmed her character won't be "killed off", meaning she may be able to return in the future.
He said: "Katy will not be killed off and the door will be left open for a possible return. We wish Georgia every success with her future career."

Stephanie Waring blasts ‘heartless’ Kym Marsh

Stephanie Waring is "shocked and upset" at Kym Marsh for dating her ex-boyfriend.
The 'Hollyoaks' star has admitted she was devastated when she heard that her friend was getting close to her former lover, insisting the 'Coronation Street' actress has broken "an unwritten rule".
Stephanie - whose texts to Kym were brushed off - told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "She's carried on with him knowing what it's done to me. It is killing me.
"I considered her a friend who I've known for years. I had no idea that she would ever do anything like this ... There is an unwritten rule that if you are friends with somebody you don't go near their ex partners."
The 36-year-old star has branded Kym "heartless" for her romance with Dan Hooper - which began he and Stephanie broke up - and insisted it is even worse because they have three-year-old daughter Lexi-Grace together.
She added: "He's not just some guy that I went out with for a year. This is a man I spent half a decade with and have a child with.
"Any woman who has had their heart broken and who is going through a break up can sympathise with this. He could have gone out with some 20-year-old hairdresser.
"He's a a free and single man who can do as he pleases. But Kym I actually considered a friend who I've known for years. It's left me in bits. She's heartless."

Louise Redknapp upset by Eternal snub

Louise Redknapp was upset she wasn't asked to appear on 'The Big Reunion' with Eternal.
The star has claimed her former band mates - Kelle Bryan and sisters Easther and Vernie Bennett - made the decision to return on the ITV2 show without seeing if she wanted to rejoin the group.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "It all happened before I knew about it. It pulled on my heart strings.
"That time in my life was wonderful and seeing them perform brought back a lot of good memories.
"There were some fab songs and good times, but they didn't ask me to be part of the reunion - which was sad."
Despite being hurt over the apparent snub, Louise admitted she wouldn't have actually taken part in the reality show even if the remaining members had asked her.
She added: "I wouldn't have done it, but it would've been nice to be asked."
However, Kelle claimed earlier this year Louise wouldn't be part of the reunion because the time wasn't right.
She said: "She's really supportive of us doing the show. It wasn't quite the right time for her to be involved and the right forum, but she wishes us all the best.
"And for her, she thinks Eternal is a really big and special part of her life."

Alan Halsall is enjoying fathermood

Alan Halsall likes to change nappies.
The 'Coronation Street' actor - whose wife Lucy-Jo Hudson gave birth to daughter Sienna-Rae last year - has said he loves being a hands-on father.
He told The Sun newspaper's TV Magazine: "I do share of nappy changing - the more the merrier. She's eight months old now and a real giggler; I think Lucy would say she's got my laugh.
"And she's got Lucy's eyes. She's absolutely beautiful and so happy. Life couldn't get any better. Fatherhood is fantastic and it changes everything. Sienna-Rae comes first now."
The soap star admitted he struggles to be away from his daughter when he's filming, and rushing home as soon as he finishing his scenes.
He added: "I miss my little girl, Sienna-Rae, when I'm at work so, as soon as I finish a scene, I'm in the car as quick as I can because I want to part of everything."
Alan also revealed he likes to prank his co-stars, and his main victim is Simon Gregson (Steve McDonald).
He said: "I'l get his mobile phone and text his parents something stupid like: 'Can I borrow your garden rake?' They'll ring him and he won't have a clue."

Matt Cardle and Lettice Rowbotham were an item?

Matt Cardle was in a relationship with 'Britain's Got Talent' star Lettice Rowbotham.
The former 'X Factor' winner was reportedly an item with the violinist - who is currently competing on Simon Cowell's talent show - and it is said she is still "besotted with him".
An insider told The Sun newspaper: "Lettice and Matt are great friends but what she likes to keep quiet is that they were a couple.
"It was quite a full-on thing and she was always talking about how sexy he was. She was besotted with him - and still is."
While the pair are still very close, it is said their commitment and ambition meant they are better off staying friends rather than trying to make a romance work.
The source added: "It didn't last long though. I think they both thought it would probably ruin their friendship. They both have an ambitious streak so it works best if they're just friends."
Lettice has worked with Matt in the past, along with Olly Murs, but insisted she has worked extremely hard to get to where she is now.
She recently said: "It does sound amazing, but those are just the best bits of 20 long years working very hard. There are very long days of gigs and travelling.
"Travelling sounds glamorous but it's not, when you're on an aeroplane for 20 hours and you have to sound check at three in the morning."

Susanna Reid not focused on money

Susanna Reid isn't focused on her 'Good Morning Britain' salary.
The TV host will front ITV's new breakfast show and while there have been reports she will earn £400,000 - rather than the £1 million she was rumoured to be getting paid - she is motivated by the excitement of being part of something fresh.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "We are lucky to be generously paid. But the days of million pound presenters are gone. it is nothing I have experienced.
"I am focused on the new programme. Imagine if it works? If people watch and love it, and they think they want us in their kitchen, that is the ultimate privilege and what we would love."
Susanna also revealed the team behind the show - which will launch on Monday morning (28.04.14) at 6am - are excited to get started and don't see it as a risk.
She added: "None of us have gone into this thinking, 'God what are we risking', but 'wow, let's do this and make a programme viewers will love and build on this'.
"I have always said there is room for two strong breakfast programmes. That is what we have to do, make a very strong breakfast programme that people will watch."
