Ola Jordan to return to Strictly Come Dancing

Ola Jordan is returning to 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The professional dancer is said to have signed up to star in the new series of the BBC One ballroom dancing contest, despite reportedly threatening to quit last year because she felt "bullied" by fellow dancer Karen Hauer.
Her husband and co-star, dancer James Jordan, is expected to follow suit.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Losing her would have been a blow. Now they hope James will follow her lead."
Ola's spokesperson revealed she had been "verbally attacked" and deeply upset during a showdown with Karen last November, with the brunette allegedly branding her a "rubbish dancer".
Show bosses forced Karen to apologise to Ola after the incident, but the 31-year-old blonde's future on the show was left on uncertain terms.
James then posted a cryptic message on Twitter last December, calling for a shake-up of the current judging panel, made up of Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood and Darcey Bussell.
He wrote: "Maybe instead of always looking to change the amazing pro dancers. I think it's about time they have more judges from the ballroom world!"
A 'Strictly' spokesperson has claimed this year's professional dancer line-up has yet to be finalised.
They said: "Discussions are on-going with all professional dancers for Strictly's next series, and the line-up will be announced in due course."

Cain Dingle will turn into a ‘Bridezilla’

Emmerdale's Cain Dingle will turn into a "Bridezilla".
Jeff Hordley plays the character who is set to tie the knot to Moira Barton (Natalie J. Robb) on May 15 and insists his character has been stepping out his "comfort zone" to help plan the wedding and has become a controlling groom-to-be.
The actor explained: "This is all new territory for Cain, and it's quite nice to see him out of his comfort zone. He's been organising the wedding - something he's never done before - so he's turned into a bit of a Bridezilla!"
Jeff has hinted the big day might not run smoothly afterall and insisted there is always "trouble" at soap weddings since viewers enjoy watching drama unfold.
He told InsideSoap magazine: "If you get the right storyline and the right characters together, then the viewers will invest in their journey. Births, marriages and deaths all attract an audience. Families are bought together at a wedding, so there's always trouble - and everybody likes a good punch up, don't they?"
Cain and Moira's romance kicked off in 2011, when she was still married to her late husband John (James Thornton), while Cain was previously jilted by Charity (Emma Atkins).

Anton Du Beke joined ‘Strictly’ because of Bruce Forsyth

Anton Du Beke joined 'Strictly Come Dancing' because of Sir Bruce Forsyth.
The professional dancer has appeared on the show alongside the 86-year-old presenter since it began in 2004 and admitted that Bruce - who has now retired from the series - was one of the main reasons behind his decision to take part.
Anton described his friendship with Sir Bruce as an "honour" and insists they will remain friends even now he is no longer on the programme.
The 47-year-old star exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Well I love him because one of the reasons in the early days for me to do 'Strictly Come Dancing' was because Bruce Forsyth was hosting it. What's lovely for me is that I've become friends with Brucie, we play a lot of golf and I spend a bit of time with him. And that for me is an honour and a treat. It's one of those things in life that I couldn't really wish for."
He added: "I've been very lucky that I've spent time with Brucie and of course I'm going to miss him but he's still my friend and I'm still going to see him. I'll still continue to lose money to him on the golf course."
Although Anton - who can be seen on Channel 4's new game show 'Draw It!' tonight (09.05.14) - is yet to be informed by producers if he is returning to the series this year, he admitted he would consider hanging up his dance shoes to follow in Bruce's footsteps and co-host the show if the opportunity were to present itself.
When asked if he would like to host the series with Tess Daly, he said: "I just wait for the phone to ring and see what they offer me. I don't really give it any thought and then you're never disappointed. It's like all these things unfortunately - it's sort of out of my hands.
"I found that in my life as a dancer and competitor you can only control the things you are involved in. The show is the show and on it goes."
'Draw It!' is on Channel 4 every week day at 4.30pm

Channel 4 launches marriage experiment

Channel 4 is launching a new show where couples will marry after meeting for the first time.
The programme, titled 'Married at First Sight', is based on a Danish series of the same name and will explore whether or not science can help people determine who 'the one' is.
A statement on the Channel 4 website reads: "The vast majority of us are brought up to assume that love is something that just happens, but there are now 15.7 million single adults in the UK and marriage is at an all-time low (2011 census, office of national stats). Have marriage and monogamy had their day. Have we forgotten how to fall in love? Is it really possible to 'choose' to fall in love?"
The couples are chosen from a pool of 200 people, who are paired together with the help of scientific and sociological criteria.
A panel of experts who can analyse psychology, psychotherapy, social and evolutionary anthropology and theology will also be involved to determine whether they're well suited.
'Married at First Sight' will follow the couples for the first six weeks of their marriage but at the end of the filming period the couples have to decide whether or not they really want to be committed to one another forever.

Matt LeBlanc wanted to stop Schwimmer getting Episodes role

Matt LeBlanc took on the lead role in 'Episodes' to stop David Schwimmer getting it.
The 46-year-old actor portrays a fictional version of himself in the comedy series - which is written by 'Friends' creator David Crane and Jeffrey Klarik - and he has joked he decided to accept the part so Crane didn't get his friend and former co-star Schwimmer instead.
Recalling when he was approached about the project, LeBlanc said: "I was at home and trying to reassemble my normal life (after 'Friends') and Jeffrey Klarik and David Crane called me and he said, 'I've got an idea.' Obviously I'd had a great experience with David. We got together for lunch and they pitched me the whole first season with nothing written on paper just off the top of their head , usually you have a pilot idea. They went through it ... and at the end it was a high five moment. I said, 'That sounds awesome.' My only reservation was that it was me playing myself, that seems a little strange I don't feel comfortable with that. They said, 'It's not a documentary, it's a scripted character anything you don't like we can lose.' It's kind of loosely based on me but it's really the public's perception of a celebrity ... To get to work with David again and Jeffrey was too good an opportunity. I was almost like, 'Gosh, if I don't say yes, they'll go to Schwimmer. I can't let him have it!'
LeBlanc admits it could be easy to be offended by at the jokes that are aimed at him in the series - which also stars Stephen Mangan and Tamsin Greig - but he always reminds himself that he's just playing a character that shares his name.
During an appearance on 'This Morning' today (08.05.14), LeBlanc said: "Quite often I'm the brunt of the joke and they take pot shots at me but I don't look at it that they're taking shots at me, they're taking shots at that character in the show. To me I have to look at it as a fictitious character."

Mario Falcone meets ‘amazing’ girl on holiday

Mario Falcone has met an "amazing" new girlfriend.
The 'TOWIE' star - who was previously engaged to Lucy Mecklenburgh - fell for the mystery lady during a recent trip to Dubai and he is so besotted with her he is flying back to the UAE to see her again within the month.
During an interview on 'This Morning', he revealed: "I got back from Dubai two days ago, I went there with friends ... and I've been trying to find a girlfriend for ages. It's been a struggle as I couldn't find someone I could connect with like Lucy, I was trying too hard so I went to Dubai to have some boy time. But the second day I met this girl called Sophie and she was amazing."
Mario was then stopped in his tracks by host Phillip Schofield, who told him: "Do me a favour - don't talk about her any more ... if it's going to be the special one then save it for you."
To which Mario replied: "Yes. I'll be flying back there in three weeks."
Mario also spoke candidly about his suicide attempt with pills and battle with depression, admitting his split from Lucy and the fallout sent him into a negative spiral.
He explained: "I got myself in a really bad rut, a monotonous routine and things weren't going well with Lucy at the time. And this was eighteen months ago ... I was quite down, I wasn't training and doing the things I enjoyed before ... The suicide attempt was more circumstance - my life had gone from being perfect to being in tatters ... but I look back at that now and wonder how I ever got into that place. I was embarrassed about what I'd done."
Mario, 26, has been able to beat his depression with the help of therapy and also revealed he has been inspired to settle down by his baby nephew Buzz, his sister Giovanna's son with her husband, McFly star Tom Fletcher.
He said: "I look my nephew who is eight weeks old today (08.05.14) and if I can love someone that much, I can't wait to have kids. That would mean for me to settle down and find someone I can have kids with and be part of my family ... I want what Giovanna and Tom have got."

Anton Du Beke wants to partner Bake Off’s Mel on Strictly

Anton Du Beke wants Bake Off's Mel Giedroyc to be his next 'Strictly Come Dancing' partner.
The 47-year-old professional dancer - who has been partnering celebrity contestants on the show since 2004 - would love to see 'The Great British Bake Off' presenter join him on the series.
Anton - who is appearing alongside Mel on Channel 4 game show 'Draw It' tonight (08.05.14) and tomorrow (09.05.14) - bonded with the comedienne over their shared sense of humour and likened her quick wit to former 'Strictly' host Sir Bruce Forsyth, who has retired from presenting the series.
When asked who he'd like to be his next partner, Anton exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Mel is tremendous. We'd have a lot of fun together Mel and I. She is a lot of fun. You never know. All being well if they ask me back I'm sure we'll all have a great time.
He added: "I know it's an obvious thing to say she's very funny but she's very quick. Tremendous. She's a great one liner. Like myself, I'm a bit of a one liner and Brucie's a one liner, she'll come out with a one liner or a line rather than a monologue. She's just hilarious. In the future if she did decide she wanted to do Strictly Come Dancing and she wanted to dance with me. I think we'd have a great time together."
Although Anton is keen for Mel to join him on the show, he admitted that many of his partners have struggled to live up to his "favourite" contestant Anne Widdecombe, with whom he made it to the 10th week of the competition in 2010.
He said: "It's difficult to look too far beyond the fabulous Anne Widdecombe as a favourite partner. She's quite a legend. For me 'Strictly Come Dancing' is that. That sort of fun I had with Anne. She was such an unexpected hit. We had great chemistry and a great rapport. I'm very fond of her. I think she's a great woman.
"She really embraced 'Strictly Come Dancing' and that's what 'Strictly Come Dancing' is for me. I never mind who I dance with as long as I have a bit of fun like I did with Anne."
'Draw It!' is on Channel 4 every week day at 4.30pm

Ultimate Wheels’ Elo: Fergie matches her cars to her outfit

Fergie spent thousands on a custom painted car to match her dress in a music video.
The 39-year-old singer was shooting her 2006 single 'London Bridge' in the capital when she asked 'Ultimate Wheels' star Elo to provide her with a one of a kind Low Rider to match her outfit in the video.
Elo - who owns the London Motor Museum - was happy to offer the "Big Girls Don't Cry' singer a 1985 Cadillac Fleetwood called 'Eye Candy', painting the rare car a particular shade of sunset orange to please the star.
The car designer exclusively told Bang Showbiz: "For the Fergie build she wanted a low rider which would be very much British in style but at the same time it needed to be very audacious, very LA, very Vegas. It's got to have the striping, the overlaying, the airbrushing, the hydraulics and all of that stuff. It was for her video.
"The Duchess needed the car to match the dress that she was wearing. So we had to paint the car a sunset orange to match one of the dresses she wearing. We were given a sample of the colour of what her dress would be on the day and to paint the car to match."
Elo - who names footballers Samuel Eto'o, Ramires and Emanuel Adebayor amongst his host of celebrity sporting and showbiz clients - also counts Fergie's Black Eyed Peas bandmate will.i.am among his favourite customers.
He said: "I've built cars for footballers that play at Chelsea, Fulham, Arsenal, rappers, singers and also for videos and promos including for will.i.am."
When asked about the 'Scream and Shout' singer, Elo explained: "He's a very easy guy to work with, very polite. He'd come out of his way to talk to you."
'Ultimate Wheels' continues Thursdays at 9pm, on HISTORY.
