Coronation Street's Kylie Platt's marriage is heading for trouble.
Paula Lane - who plays Kylie in the ITV soap - has warned the arrival of Callum Logan, Kylie's ex-boyfriend and the father of her son Max, will cause a rift between Kylie and her husband David Platt, played by Jack P. Shepherd.
The 28-year-old actress told Radio Times magazine: "Callum has charm and it makes Kylie feel excited, so I guess there is a little bit of desire there.
"At one time, they were the king and queen of their estate. They ruled the roost and she gets a kick out of being with him again."
Kylie goes back to her old neighbourhood in search of her drug-dealing ex-boyfriend - played by Sean Ward - in an attempt to get to the bottom of Max's ADHD diagnosis but finds herself slipping back into her old ways of drink and drug abuse.
Paula explained: "Kylie hasn't got ADHD herself and she's wondering if Max could have genetically inherited anything from Callum.
"She's risking everything. It's a downward spiral for Kylie. She's been there before so it will be easy for her to be dragged back into it."
However, the actress revealed that whilst the meeting of the characters starts off as hostile, it soon turns "electric" and she, herself, is excited for the soap's fans to see how the story unfolds.
Paula said: "[Callum] probably came to push the pram a bit before the novelty wore off. So it must have been eight years since [Kylie's] laid eyes on him.
"Initially, it is very hostile between her and Callum, but it's electric. I can't wait for you all to see his first episode because I was shocked myself."

Ben Shephard flashed his bum at Lorraine Kelly as she celebrated 30 years of breakfast television this morning (29.09.14).
'Good Morning Britain' host Ben was dressed in a traditional Scottish kilt in honour of the 54-year-old presenter's home country and at one stage he turned his back to Lorraine and lifted the tartan garment.
It remains unknown whether the 'Good Morning Britain' host had - in true Scotsman style - been underwear free.
Prior to the incident Lorraine only had kind words to say about Ben's new look.
She said: "It's gorgeous and you're wearing it the way I like it, with the boots and the socks, and not the frilliness, just lovely!"
The 'Lorraine' host was joined on the show by her 20-year-old daughter Rosie and received touching tributes from colleagues, former co-stars and celebrity guests including Anthea Turner, Eamonn Holmes and Ross Kelly.
Recalling the times they worked together, Eamonn, 54, said: "We thought we were brilliant, we thought we were really good, then there was a review in a posh newspaper, and it just said, 'This programme is presented by two unknown big round faces', isn't that right Lorraine? But what they say is very well and good, but there are no wrinkles on a balloon!"
She also received congratulatory messages from Ant and Dec, Martin Clunes, Hugh Bonneville, Keith Lemon and Paul O'Grady, as well as Eamonn's wife Ruth Langsford.
'Coronation Street' cast members Kym Marsh, Beverley Callard and Simon Gregson also showed their support for Lorraine and revealed she is set to feature on the soap on tonight's episode.
Lorraine said: "It's been overwhelming and amazing. I can't believe it's been 30 years, it's gone by in a flash, but you know, you're only as good as your team and my team both on screen and off screen, are fabulous, the very best ... I'm going to cry!"

The 'Loose Women' stars sent messages of support to former co-host Lynda Bellingham following her decision to stop having treatment for her cancer.
The panel of the ITV chat show praised Lynda for her bravery following her announcement at the weekend she only has a few months to live and presented a montage of clips of the well-loved broadcaster's time on the lunch-time programme today (29.09.14).
Ruth Langsford said: "We're all thinking about her today here at 'Loose Women'.
"Thousands of you have been sending your love and messages - 12,000 at the moment, and we've only just come on air - of support for you Lynda on our Facebook page."
Close friend and long-running Loose Woman Colleen Nolan, revealed she has been in touch with Lynda, and praised her for her positive outlook and infectious personality.
She said: "Lynda's still being Lynda. The texts are all so funny and well-humoured; you can't help but respond to that, she's still very up-beat. She's just fantastic."
At the beginning of the programme, it had been suggested that Lynda would be calling in to speak the panel and the viewers, but instead she was only able to send a message to the team because she was undergoing another bout of chemotherapy, one of her last sessions before she stops the treatment.
In the message, she said: "Thank you so much for the support you have no idea how much it means to me. But please understand I am in a good place.
"It is essential to feel you have some control of your own life. Anyone in the same position as me is often on the toilet!
"Again thank you for all the years of support you have given me. You are the 'Loose Women' - we are the best!"

Krusty the Clown's father has been killed off in 'The Simpsons'.
In an episode which aired in the US last night (28.09.14), viewers saw Krusty's dad die ending months of speculation as to which character was going to meet his maker in the long-running cartoon.
Discussing the death, the show's executive producer Al Jean told BBC Radio 1: "The title of the episode is 'Clown of the Dumps' and when I announced it people were going '*gasp* you're killing Krusty!' I was like, 'Wait, in the dumps means you're sad.' It was very strange."
The fatality of Rabbi Hyman Krustofski took place in the FOX comedy's season premiere - which is due to air in the UK later this year - dramatically opening the show's 26th series.
The 53-year-old creative - who first began working on the show in 1989 - found it amusing when he heard that fans feared that Homer Simpson may be the doomed character.
He said: "The character that dies is Krusty's father and he's sad about it and we explore their relationship and that was actually the way it was always conceived.
"It was funny how even when it was trying to just tell the truth, people would always get it wrong, 'It's homer isn't it! You're killing Homer!' "
When asked if he would ever consider killing off the oafish Simpsons patriarch, he joked: "No, I'd be fired!"

The 66-year-old actress - who has terminal bowel cancer which has spread to her liver and lungs - announced she only has weeks to live over the weekend but hopes her husband, Michael Pattermore, 59 and and her sons, Robbie, 26 and 31-year-old Michael can do some of the things she hasn't got round to doing.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "There were so many things left that I wanted to do - but I hope my sons will use my energy and look after my hubby and love each other."
Lynda - who starred as the mother in the Oxo gravy stock adverts for 16 years - hopes her husband will find a new companion and buy a house in Somerset, where he grew up.

She said: "Suddenly this week time is starting to snowball and you think, hang on, I'm not ready for this. I fear time going quickly."

"I would love to make one more Christmas, if possible, but I want to stop taking chemo around November in order to pass away by the end of January."

Ferne McCann feels "upset" after an intimate picture of her was posted online.
A photo of the 'The Only Way Is Essex' star posing topless was circulated among her social circle through mobile phone app, Snapchat, last week.
Speaking about the incident, the 24-year-old beauty told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I'm upset about this picture. It was obviously a personal one and never intended for the public domain.
"I don't know how it's been leaked or whether I've been hacked, but I feel totally betrayed that someone could do this to me.
"I think it's disgusting. However, I now just want to move on and concentrate on the new series of 'TOWIE'."
Ferne's boyfriend, Charlie Sims, is reportedly angry about the leaked picture.
A source said: "Charlie and Ferne are stronger than ever and he's furious that someone would do this to her.
"He's protective and wants to put a stop to anyone sharing the snap further."

Jason Merrells has quit 'Emmerdale'.
The 45-year-old actor - who plays the ruthless Declan Macey - is set to leave the ITV soap to spend more time with his family after admitting he finds being 200 miles away from his home very difficult.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: "It was never going to be a job for life and I've stayed way longer than I thought I would. I've really enjoyed it but problems are still there - travel and living away from home.
"This job is full-on, so every week I'm 200 miles away from my family and my home, and after a while you think: 'As much as I love the work, I don't want this forever'."
It has yet to be confirmed whether Declan, played by Jason, will leave the Yorkshire village dead or alive.
The soap's viewers last saw him floating down the river, following a showdown with his wife Charity (Emma Atkins) and nephew, Robbie Lawson. During the altercation, Robbie, played by Jamie Shelton, died after a flare gun was fired into his chest, causing him to fall into the river.
Despite missing home, the dad-of-five admitted he had a great time on the show and praised his co-star, Emma.
Jason said: "Being in 'Emmerdale' is not something I could have done forever: I've stayed longer as it's been great fun to play this character.
"Emma Atkins is great to work with and the show has been so good over the last two years.
"Apart from the travel I've loved every second but there's always been an end in my mind."

'Friends' stars David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc are set to reunite for BBC show 'Episodes'.
Schwimmer, 47, played Ross on the popular sitcom, while LeBlanc, also, 47, played Joey.
The pair are set to reunite on 'Episodes', with Schwimmer making a guest appearance on the show.
An on-set spy told The Sun newspaper: "David and Matt shot scenes together earlier this year.
"It will be a great moment for Friends fans to see them reminiscing about the good old days - but they are unlikely to be best of buds on screen."
The 'Friends' cast - which also featured Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow and Matthew Perry - enjoyed a healthy off-screen relationship while they were filming the show, but Schwimmer and LeBlanc formed a particularly strong bond.
Schwimmer, who spends more of his time directing than acting these days, has previously claimed LeBlanc is the actor who's made him laugh the most.
The cast of 'Friends' recently celebrated the 20th anniversary since the start of the iconic show.
And despite the passing of time, they remain in touch with each other.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "They have all stayed in touch and meet up in groups."
