Gregg Wallace worried about Craig Revel Horwood getting revenge

Gregg Wallace is worried Craig Revel Horwood will get his revenge against him on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The 'MasterChef' judge criticised the professional dancer when he took part in the BBC One cookery show in 2007 and he's now worried Craig's going to get his revenge by slamming his dance moves when he performs for him on the celebrity dance contest.
Gregg said: "The irony isn't lost on me that I'm a judge on one show and now going to be judged on another, and Craig was on 'Celebrity MasterChef'.
"I'm trying to rack my brains to think back to what I said to him. I keep trying to replay his dishes over and over in my mind."
The 49-year-old presenter has shed a lot of weight since he first appeared on 'MasterChef' but admits he's still struggling to get the hang of his and partner Aliona Vilani's dance routines.
Writing in the Daily Telegraph newspaper, he said: "There are a lot of moves I'm not used to doing as a greengrocer.
"I woke up with one completely knotted right calf and an aching muscle where I didn't know I had a muscle near my left hamstring."
However, Gregg has no plans to lay off the puddings while taking part in the competition.
He added: "I think we can eat what we want. I lost three pounds in two days of training!
"I'm ambitious but I don't think I can win really, considering some of the younger, fitter contestants. It's not possible.
"Pixie [Lott] is just incredible and so is Frankie [Bridge]."

Mel B won’t ‘mother’ her X Factor contestants

Mel B won't "mother" her 'X Factor' contestants.
The former Spice Girl - who is mentoring the boys category on this year's series of the ITV singing competition - believes in tough love when it comes to getting the best out of her contestants and says she isn't there to baby sit them.
She told The Sun newspaper: "Boys can do whatever they want, they are boys. As long as they are respectful about it and whoever they are with, who am I to say anything?
"I'm not their mother. They are responsible for themselves.
"You show up to work and you prepare yourself. What you do in your personal life is up to you, as long as it doesn't affect your work."
Although the 39-year-old singer is a self-professed "hard-**s" she insists she is open to providing emotional support for the boys if they come to her.
She explained: "I can be a hard-**s, a bad-**s, and I can be very emotional and very connected.
"I'm not working with girls -- I expect them to be emotional and open up, but boys are boys.
"You can't force a boy to tell you how he's feeling. If they want to tell me, they can tell me ."
The brunette beauty - who sits beside Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Louis Walsh on the panel - revealed all the judges are "hungry' for success on this year's competition but is unsure who will take the crown, stating, "Anyone could win."
She explained: "All of our judging styles are pretty different and that's why this panel works. We respect each other and agree to disagree. We can have a little bit of a fight and laugh about it two seconds later but still have our point to prove.
"Everyone is hungry for that competition. That competitiveness is inside all four of us.
"They're all dark horses and we've all got really strong categories. Anyone could win."

Arg has ‘made love’ to Lydia Bright since splitting

James 'Arg' Argent and Lydia Bright have "made love" recently, despite being "just friends".
The former couple - who split in 2012 - have grown increasingly close in recent months, and while the 24-year-old beauty insists their relationship is purely platonic, her former boyfriend insists there is more to it that being pals.
Arg - who shared a kiss with Lydia in the last episode of 'TOWIE' - said: "We've had some kisses and cuddles and yes, we've made love.
"Some days Lydia tries to keep our relationship as just friends, but then we'll get close again."
And Arg admits he declares his feelings to his former flame every day, and she occasionally reciprocates.
He added to Closer magazine: "I tell Lydia I love her every day. She's cautious because of everything that happened but she's said she loves me too."
While Lydia knows fans are keen for the pair to reunite, she still can't get past the fact he cheated on her, sparking the end of their relationship two years ago.
She said: "I know people are excited about us potentially getting back together, but I don't think Ill ever get over what happened. Right now we're friends."

Nitin Ganatra teases EastEnders ‘fireworks’ for Masood’s family

Nitin Ganatra has teased "fireworks" for Masood's family in 'EastEnders'
The actor - who plays Masood Ahmed in the BBC soap - has suggested that viewers should expect tension between his character and his on-screen daughter Shabnam Masood (Rakhee Thakrar) following her return from Pakistan.
Talking to BANG Showbiz at the Inside Soap Awards (01.10.14), Nitin explained: "[There are] lots of father-daughter fireworks coming up. Shabnam has come back from Pakistan with a very head-strong attitude and it's kind of put the laid back Masood on his back foot."
The 46-year-old went on to state that the friction between the two characters will expose parts of Masood's personality which haven't been shown before, as he struggles to deal with Shabnam's behaviour.
He continued: "She's a feisty young lady who tells her dad what to do. I think the storylines developing at the moment will kind of be exploring that relationship between father and daughter and switching the roles a little bit hopefully.
"We might see a darker Masood, a bit more possessive with his daughter than you usually expect Masood to be. So they're going to be exploring this, we might see a wilder side to Shabnam, so everything might get flipped on its head."
The Kenyan-born actor who has appeared in the soap since 2007, also expressed his frustration about being part of the only Asian family on Albert Square, admitting that he feels pressured to represent all elements of Asian culture.
He explained: "It's a very diverse culture, being Asian, so being the only Asian family does have a certain pressure on it.
Diversity is when you don't notice how many different cultures there are on TV, because it's not under a microscope. When there's only one, it's going to be too much pressure."

Rita Ora ‘flirts’ with Ricky Wilson on The Voice

Rita Ora and Ricky Wilson have been flirting on 'The Voice'.
The 'I Will Never Let You Down' hitmaker and the frontman of the Kaiser Chiefs are currently filming for the new series of the BBC One talent show - alongside fellow judges Sir Tom Jones and will.i.am - and are reportedly already very comfortable with each other.
An audience member at a taping for the show in Manchester told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "It was very flirty, but to make sure it wasn't taken the wrong way he then kissed Tom Jones on the cheek too.
"They had a chat in between takes where they were holding on to each other's arms, too. They've clearly hit it off."
Ricky kissed the 23-year-old singer - who is making her debut as a judge on this series - on the cheek after she lost out on an act she turned her chair for during the show's blind auditions.
It is unlikely for anything more to happen with the pair though as they both have partners. Ricky has been with TV producer Lesley Williams for five years and Rita is currently dating Tommy Hilfiger's son, Richard.
However, Rita - who split from Calvin Harris earlier this year - did admit that she had massaged Ricky with oil to help him "relax".
The 36-year-old 'Ruby' hitmaker was branded "such a flirt" by Rita after he told a contestant about their backstage antics.
Ricky said: "You should have seen me before I came out, Rita was putting oil on me. She said 'smell this' ... She was putting oil on me."

Laura Norton has sore knees from slut-dropping

'Emmerdale' actress Laura Norton has sore knees from 'slut-dropping'.
The actress - who plays the character of Kerry Wyatt in the ITV soap - regularly has aching knees from performing the racy dance move because the writers of the show seem to constantly find excuses to include it.
Talking at the Inside Soap Awards, where she won the title of Funniest Female, she told BANG Showbiz: "I did a slut drop in the show about a year-and-a-half ago and ever since I did it, every time I open another script I have to do another slut drop!"
The pain in her joints has now got so bad the 31-year-old star thinks the only escape from her signature dance move will be a serious knee injury.
She continued: "My knees are really sore, I've absolutely done my right knee in now, so I'm going to have to try and do it really badly so they stop writing it in!"
Despite the pain, the Geordie lass has confirmed her love for dancing, and has teased upcoming 'Emmerdale' scenes where she's at it again, this time wearing a wedding dress.
She explained: "There's something coming up actually on Halloween where we've got us back in my wedding dress for fancy dress and I end up doing a few slut moves, slut drops."
"Although I'm moaning I'm always dancing or doing something."

Ben Miller: Female comics doing better than men

Ben Miller believes female comedians are out performing their male counterparts.
The 48-year-old comedian-and-actor - who is one half of double act Armstrong and Miller - has praised the "amazing" women who are currently on the comedy circuit.
He said: "Well I think female comedians are leaving male comedians behind at the moment, there are so many amazing, amazing female comedians coming through.
"Every show that you look now there's another brilliant female stand-up. I think that's the big change that I have noticed since I started doing comedy."
Meanwhile, Ben credits women for changing stand-up comedy, making an impact on the industry and helping comedy to be more "detailed [and] emotional".
A survey conducted by Ticketmaster showed that sales for female comics had trebled since 2011.
Ben said: "In the 90s it would be like the black market 'Do you know any funny women?' and you would pass round names, and you would go and see somebody; there might have been a handful of women who were doing comedy but now many, many more and they are all so brilliant.
"I feel they've really moved joke-telling on. There is a change in stand-up comedy being less brash, more kind of thoughtful, more detailed, more emotional. The great insights that women have are now finding their way into comedy and I think it's a great thing, a great thing."

Frankie Bridge suffers injury on Strictly Come Dancing

Frankie Bridge has suffered an ankle injury while training for 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The 25-year-old pop star and mum-of-one hurt her left ankle practising moves on the dance floor alongside her professional partner Kevin Clifton.
The Saturdays singer revealed the news on her Instagram account, which featured a picture of Kevin, 31, applying ice to her ankle and with a caption reading: "Ouch!! My 1st Strictly injury."
The 'What About Us' star is among the favourites for this year's competition, but the light-hearted nature of Frankie's message would suggest her participation in this weekend's show is not under threat.
Frankie recently revealed she has to take motion-sickness tablets before her 'Strictly Come Dancing performances.
However, the brunette beauty claimed gruelling rehearsals have left her feeling fitter than ever.
She told OK! magazine: "When I'm spinning, I get really bad motion sickness so I'll have to take travel sickness tablets.
"Every part of my body aches but my body feels toned and I feel fitter than ever. With touring on top, this is the most exercise I've ever done so I'm eating what I want."
What's more, Frankie spoke of her excitement at the opportunity to change her appearance on the show.
Frankie - who is married to former England footballer Wayne Bridge - said: "I tried to be different and have long hair last year but it didn't really suit me.
"Everyone changes their hair each week on 'Strictly' but I can't, so the hair and make-up guys were like, 'Oh we have wigs.' I'm never going to get to wear wigs any other time so I might as well give them a go."

Matt Di Angelo expecting abuse after EastEnders rape plot

Matt Di Angelo is expecting a "punch" when his 'EastEnders' character becomes a rapist.
The 27-year-old actor has admitted he was uncomfortable when he was told by the writers his character Dean Wicks would sexually assault Queen Vic landlady Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) and although he eventually committed to the plot he is expecting a backlash from viewers when the episode airs next Monday (06.10.14) on BBC One.
He said: "If I have to get abuse on Twitter and a punch in the mouth I'm fine with that, as long as one person speaks out. I don't care if we get 100,000 complaints if it helps one person."
However, Matt is worried about being associated with such a heinous crime, adding: "Your face is recognisable as the character, so to be associated with that crime is tough. There are people out there who blur the lines between what's real and what's not."
Although filming the scenes has not been easy, Matt believes it is the responsibility of a show like 'EastEnders' to tackle tough storylines in a way that can help viewers who may have experienced the same thing.
He added: "I realised 'EastEnders' is an institution and with that great power comes a responsibility to address these kind of problems that women go through a lot."
In the wake of Dean's violent action, viewers will see Linda keep silent about the rape until it is revealed that is pregnant.
