Dermot O’Leary worried about being axed from The X Factor

Dermot O'Leary is worried he's going to be axed from 'The X Factor'.
The 41-year-old star has presented the ITV singing competition for the last ten years but admits he's concerned the show's boss, Simon Cowell, is lining someone else up for the job as they've yet to have a meeting to discuss contracts for the next series.
He shared: "We normally sit down February/March but Simon wants to change stuff. So I need to see what changes he is going to make before a) I know if he wants me and b) whether I'm suitable for those changes."
Dermot also confessed that although he loves working on one of the biggest shows on British television, he won't continue as host if he's not comfortable with what he's asked to do.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "If he [Simon] turns around and says, 'Half your gig is a voiceover', then I will have to think about it. If he lets me do my thing then of course I would do it."
The former 'Big Brother's Little Brother' presenter - who is married to TV producer Dee Koppang - is currently dancing non-stop for 24 hours to raise money for Comic Relief but admits while Simon's "supportive" of his endeavour, he wasn't keen on getting involved.
Dermot added: "I asked Simon if he could help out but he said, 'Then I'd have to dance'. But he has been very supportive."

Sheridan Smith: Kathy Burke is my idol

Sheridan Smith wants Kathy Burke to play her in a film about her life.
The 33-year-old star has revealed she'd like the 50-year-old comedic actress to play her in a biopic about her life despite her being 17 years older than her.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "She is my idol. Kathy is the reason I started acting. When I was younger I saw all these beautiful female actresses and I thought, 'I don't know where I would fit in'.
"But then I saw Kathy and she could laugh at herself and have no vanity but then do real drama like 'Nil By Mouth'."
The 'Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps' actress is no stranger to portraying celebrities herself, having played a young Cilla Black in ITV's 2014 drama 'Cilla'.
Sheridan took home a National Television Award for her portrayal in January and is set to go up against 'Happy Valley' actress Sarah Lancashire at the Royal Television Society's (RTS) Programme Awards 2013-2014 next month.
Meanwhile, the blonde beauty is rumoured to be dating 'Hollyoaks' actor Greg Wood after being spitted on a romantic dinner date with him earlier this year.

Alan Carr refused to wash hands after touching Kim Kardashian West’s bottom

Alan Carr didn't wash his hands for a week after touching Kim Kardashian West's bottom.
The 'Alan Carr: Chatty Man' presenter admitted he was surprised by the firmness of the reality TV star's posterior and refused to clean his hands after coming into contact with her famous curves.
Alan - who interviewed the beauty on his show in 2012 - said: "I love Kim - she's the next big superstar - and I touched her bum, which is surprisingly firm, not unlike a Babybel.
"I didn't wash my hand for a week."
"She was on with Pudsey the dog from Britain's Got Talent, who jumped up behind her and started doing the conga."
The 38-year-old chat show host also revealed it was in fact Kim's husband Kanye West who encouraged her to appear on the show and added that the 'All Day' rapper once invited him to travel with him on his private jet to a gig in Norway.
He told The Sun newspaper: "Kanye was in the audience sitting next to a St John's Ambulance man. I couldn't believe it.
"He's a big fan. He told Kim, 'You've got to do 'Chatty Man''. Not long ago I was at the MTV Awards and got a tap on my shoulder and it was Kanye saying, 'Hey Alan'.
"On 'The Friday Night Project', he said, 'I want you to come on my private jet and join me at my big gig in Oslo'. But I had a charity gig for blind children so I turned it down. I know. So God, if you're watching.. you owe me one."

Jeremy Clarkson reported himself

Jeremy Clarkson called the BBC Director of Television himself to tell him he had been involved in a "fracas" with a producer.
The 'Top Gear' host was suspended earlier this week following an altercation with Oisin Tymon over a "catering issue" and reported himself to Danny Cohen - who is widely reported to "loathe" the presenter - five days after the row in a bid to have the matter dealt with quickly.
After calling the executive, the 54-year-old star held a meeting with 'Top Gear' staff and told them what he had done, reportedly to stop someone else from leaking the incident.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "It is staggering that Jeremy thought it was sensible to bring this to the attention of Danny Cohen, who hates his guts.
"It seems he knew he'd done wrong and wanted to take control of the situation before it leaked."
Though he is said to have admitted the row - which is believed to have been sparked by the presenter being unable to have hot food at a hotel - got physical, Jeremy insisted he didn't punch the producer.
The source added: "In his mind it was just pushing and shoving. He thinks this has been blown out of all proportion."
Meanwhile, with his future on the show in doubt at the moment, Jeremy, 54, has taken the opportunity to poke fun at himself.
He has changed his Twitter biography to read: "I am probably a presenter of BBC2 motoring show, Top Gear".
The BBC - who have pulled the final three episodes of the current series of 'Top Gear' - are planning an inquiry into the incident.
BBC Director-General Tony Hall said: "We have got to establish the facts before we come to a final decision."

Dermot O’Leary will dance through toilet trips

Dermot O'Leary will dance through trips to the toilet for Comic Relief.
The 'X Factor' presenter is doing a 24-hour dance marathon to raise funds for the charity and has vowed to continue moving even when he goes to relieve himself.
Asked what will happen during toilet breaks, he said: "They'll be quite interesting. I said I Want to carry on moving, no matter what happens.
"I'm going to eat on the go."
Dermot will be joined throughout the day be a string of special guests because he doesn't want to be left alone "like a berk".
He said: "We're having guest DJs on the hour, every hour.
"There will be surprise guests and people coming in to perform a song and dance with me. The idea is that it's like a 24-hour disco.
"I don't want it to be just me dancing like a berk at 3am.
"Cheryl [Fernandez-Versini] is going to come down, and Sam Smith, which will be fantastic. I'm quite looking forward to the surprises."
The 41-year-old presenter admits he has only recently realised what a mammoth task he is undertaking.
He told heat magazine: "It's quite scary. People keep hooking me up with these great choreographers who work on 'The X Factor' and they're all teaching me to dance - but all the dances are quite hard. I'm exhausted.
"And then I think, 'Oh God, how am I going to manage 24 hours?'
"I came up with this idea when I was six hours into a birthday party - I thought, 'I can just carry on dancing'. But that's different to a 24-hour thing."

Kerry Katona not fit enough for Atomic Kitten tour

Kerry Katona doesn't think she's fit enough for Atomic Kitten's tour.
The 34-year-old singer recently admitted she had put on a stone since giving birth to fifth child Dylan-Jorge last April and she is confided in her bandmates she is worried she won't be able to handle the gruelling dance routines of a live show.
Her bandmate Liz McClarnon said: "I broke the news to Kerry that being on tour means we will be on stage for an hour and a half without an interval, and her reaction was hilarious.
"She kept saying how exhausted she is going to be and she's worried it will be harder than she remembers from before."
However, Liz says Kerry has upped her training schedule and is working hard to ensure she is fit for the shows.
She added: "Kerry is training a lot and eating very well - she is determined to succeed. She's looking amazing for it too."
In contrast, Liz is struggling to deal with the pressure of the tour, which will see the 'Whole Again' singers visit Europe, Asia and Australia.
She told Closer magazine: "I have been suffering from panic attacks caused by lack of sleep and feeling under pressure.
"I ended up falling asleep in the day and being awake at night. I got myself into a vicious cycle but I am feeling better now."

Arthur Darvill wanted ‘drunken antics’ on Broadchurch set

Arthur Darvill is disappointed there were no "drunken antics" on the set of 'Broadchurch'.
The 32-year-old actor admits it was "amazing" to reprise his role as Reverend Paul Coates in the second series of the hit ITV drama but confessed he and his co-stars were all very "civilised" when socialising after work.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "There wasn't much, because it was so busy, there wasn't much time to go out but we'd have dinner together. It was all very civilized, there were no drunken antics in the evening sadly but I met some very close friends working on it."
The former 'Doctor Who' star confessed that although he and the other stars of the show - including Jodie Whittaker, David Tennant and Olivia Colman - didn't get drunk together, they did like to play pranks on one another.
He explained: "We do have quite a lot of fun. There were a lot of pranks actually. I think because it's such a serious show, I think if you attack it with such darkness it becomes quite unbearable so I think we did quite a lot to keep spirits up throughout production."
Arthur added: "I told Jodie a story about how my mum bought my nan a cardboard cut out of me for Christmas one year and kept thinking there was an intruder so she had to put it in the loft and I was telling Jodie this and she ordered one off the internet and put it in my trailer so when I came to work I was stood face to face with myself, and then it did the rounds.
"This horrible cardboard cut out of me ended up in everyone's trailers, people's bathrooms and even Olivia Colman's bathroom in her hotel room and you could just hear people screaming from different parts of where all the trailers were and you could just see this version of me being thrown out the door.
"I ended up seeing it just cut in half by the bins which was quite a sad fate for it. No one wanted to take it home."
'Broadchurch series 2 and series 1 & 2 box set will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on Monday March 16 at www.acorndvd.com

The original Stig: Top Gear not as valuable without Jeremy Clarkson

The original Stig believes 'Top Gear' wouldn't be as "valuable" without Jeremy Clarkson.
Perry McCarthy, who was the original anonymous driver on the BBC motoring show, has confessed he thinks it won't be anywhere near as successful if the broadcaster decides to sack the presenter after they confirmed he'd been suspended following a "fracas" with a producer.
He shared: "We all normally say, 'Nobody is bigger than the programme', except this time. I think Jeremy is bigger than 'Top Gear', I really do, that's my personal opinion. And if 'Top Gear' were to go on without him, it would be damaged goods. It wouldn't be as valuable, it wouldn't be as enjoyable and who'd want to see it without Jeremy? I wouldn't."
The 54-year-old presenter was suspended by the BBC and the next two episodes of 'Top Gear' have been cancelled after it was alleged he'd punched producer Oisin Tymon for failing to provide him with a steak dinner after a day of shooting but Perry believes the situation has got out of hand.
Speaking on ITV's 'Good Morning Britain', he said: "I always found Jeremy to be just great fun. Jeremy will pull your chain, there's no question about it. He's looking for a reaction. He just wants to have fun so he's up for a bit of banter but I always think of Jeremy as just being very mischievous. I like the bloke so I always found him to be just good fun, very professional and very creative."
Perry also claimed that while Jeremy always liked to have his voice heard on set, he was never unreasonable.
Asked how Jeremy gets on with members of the production crew, he added: "I think they work pretty well as a team. Jeremy always struck me as somebody who had a very strong idea about everything.
"[He] would drag something forward and [when] you've got that creative energy you want to push forward as hard as you can but I don't feel he always had to be right.
"If someone had a better idea - and it would have to be a really good idea to be better - but if they did it's just about making the end product right."

Joey Essex worried his fame will scare girlfriend away

Joey Essex is scared his new girlfriend won't be able to cope with his fame.
The former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star has confirmed he has met someone he thinks he could "end up" with but is concerned she won't be able to deal with his celebrity status once their relationship becomes public knowledge.
He shared: "I'm just worried [my fame] will freak her out. If our relationship gets serious, it's going to change her life.
"She'll end up doing interviews with magazines and photoshoots. I need her to be able to handle the pressure.
"Dating me is a life-changing experience."
The 25-year-old TV personality was previously seeing a girl named Reem after meeting her while on holiday in Dubai but admits that while she's "a nice girl" he doesn't see a future with her.
And although he was enjoying being single after splitting with former co-star and fiance Sam Faiers last year he thinks his new love interest - whose identity he is yet to reveal - will soon be taking him off the market.
He told MailOnline: "I wasn't looking to meet someone so I really didn't expect all of this.
"I didn't want to get into a relationship because I have been loving the single life - it's amazing. But I think we could end up together. It's definitely heading that way."
