Mel B is being tipped to appear on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The former 'X Factor' judge - who was sacked from the ITV singing competition by boss Simon Cowell after just one series earlier this year - is now being lined up to take part in the next series of the BBC celebrity dance contest.
The bookmakers William Hill have halved the price of the former Spice Girls star appearing on 'Strictly' from 10/1 to 5/1 as speculation mounts that she's signed up for the show.
However, it's been suggested viewers would be less than impressed with Mel's involvement given she appeared on the US equivalent, 'Dancing with the Stars', in 2007.
William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams said: "We think it would be a little unfair on the other contestants, as Mel has already appeared on the American version but it would certainly annoy Simon Cowell."
Meanwhile, Scottish weather presenter Carol Kirkwood "looks all but certain" to take part with odds of 1/2 while former 'Richard & Judy' star Richard Madeley is also in the running at 6/4.
Dermot O'Leary - who has also left the 'X Factor' after stepping down as host - is close behind Mel at 6/1 while former BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show host Chris Evans could also be set to compete for the glitterball trophy with odds of 9/1.
This comes after UKIP leader Nigel Farage was tipped to appear on the show after he resigned from the political party last month.
However, he has since returned to his role meaning he is unlikely to take part.

Gary Barlow doesn't think Robbie Williams is "patient" enough to be a judge on 'The X Factor'.
The 'Patience' hitmaker - who sat on the panel for three series between 2011 to 2013 - believes his former Take That bandmate would be a "good" addition to the show, but doesn't think he has the right temperament for TV.
He said: "Do you know what I think he would make a good judge; I just can't imagine him doing it. Having done the show and knowing the amount of time that goes into it, I just can't imagine Rob. He's not as patient as me and you have to be very patient when you're doing telly. So no I can't imagine him doing it.
"I've actually talked to him, years ago, because he was offered 'American Idol' once and he said, 'It's too much time'. I don't think it'll happen, I mean listen I could be wrong but..."
While Gary enjoyed his own stint as head judge on the talent contest, he is in no rush to return to the programme.
Speaking to 'Big John @ Breakfast' on Hallam FM radio, he said: I think it's too soon to go back. I enjoyed it but it's too soon. We're busy, we're flat out at the moment... "

Simon Cowell "felt like a bit of an idiot" when he found out 'Britain's Got Talent' winners Jules O'Dwyer and Matisse used a stunt double dog for the tightrope walk during the final.
The talent show judge has revealed that he had to "raise his voice" towards "embarrassed" producers, after over 600 complaints were received by Ofcom and ITV from viewers claiming they felt cheated.
Simon said: "The moment I found out I literally put my head in my hands. I spoke to a lot of people after, and I did raise my voice. But it was mainly people owning up to it. They felt embarrassed, they felt frustrated, they felt stupid but you've got to man up to this stuff."
The 55-year-old music mogul - who had no idea that the dog performing the tightrope walk was Chase rather than Matisse - added that he was "depressed" for the show's producers, as well as Jules herself, as no one realised "how it would appear".
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, Simon said: "The producers are absolutely gutted. I was so depressed for the show, for Jules and for the producers themselves, because they are not horrible people. They didn't think how it would appear. I was frustrated because I didn't really know what I was judging until afterwards so I felt like a bit of an idiot."
"There's a cloud over [Jules] and I want that cloud to go. I want people to feel proud of her and that she did well and she should be happy."

Susanna Reid isn't ready to start dating again.
The 44-year-old broadcaster - who split from her husband Dominic Cotton in 2014 - has revealed she's in no rush to start looking for love again.
She shared: "At the moment I don't feel the need. I'm not dating but I still go out.
"Do I have lots of male friends? Yes. Gay, straight, married.
"I was in a relationship for 16 years and I'm not in a rush to be involved in anything else."
Susanna - who still lives with Dominic and their children Jack, Sam and Finn - says she already enjoys a "fulfilling" life and has no interest in finding a new man through internet dating.
The 'Good Morning Britain' host told Good Housekeeping magazine: "I've a job that's utterly fulfilling, three children I'm completely dedicated to and a great friendship with their dad.
"Internet dating? It's a great idea, but not for me."
The brunette beauty, who appeared on 'Strictly Come Dancing' in 2013, also defended the fact she still lives with the father of her children.
She explained: "We're still really good friends and we have an arrangement where we're doing the best we can for our kids. People found that unusual but it's worked.
"We have a very good, positive and genuine friendship that will last now and three great kids who we adore and would do anything for."
Meanwhile, Susanna also rubbished accusations that she's flirted with numerous high profile guests including Arctic Monkeys singer Alex Turner, David Beckham and British Prime Minister David Cameron on the ITV breakfast show, saying it's "frustrating".
She added: "Wearing a dress and chewing a pen is interpreted as something else.
"It's frustrating - I'm a professional interviewer whose job it is to get the absolute best out of people.
"To then have it described in a different way, feels a bit like come on, really?
"But as a woman in the media you have to take that as part of the rough and tumble. It enables you to lay down another layer of thick skin."

ITV bosses have announced six more series of 'The Only Way Is Essex'.
The reality TV show - which airs on ITVBe - will now run until the start of 2017 Derek McLean from TV production company Lime Pictures has confirmed.
He said: "We are so thrilled to announce we have been commissioned for six more series of TOWIE. It is not only the leading show for ITVBe, it is a huge priority for ITV in general."
Derek added show bosses are keen for the reality series to become as big as ITV's most popular soaps.
He said: "We want Towie to become an ongoing, real-life soap opera. It is just as important to ITVBe as 'Coronation Street' or 'Emmerdale' are to ITV."
Meanwhile show favourite Mario Falcone's future on the series still hangs in the balance.
The 27-year-old star was suspended from the show last week after posting photos of himself promoting diet pills on his Twitter account.
While Derek confessed the 'TOWIE' crew hope that Mario will return, he insists the show will be "perfectly fine" without him.
He told The Sun newspaper: "We have to be very strict about that. We hope Mario will be back but, if he isn't, we will be perfectly fine with that."

Olivia Colman wasn't offered any work for six months after 'Broadchurch'.
The 41-year-old actress - who plays DS Ellie Miller in the hit ITV drama - has revealed that rather than acting as a stepping stone to more roles, 'Broadchurch' actually meant she found it harder to get work.
She said: "I think there's a perception that I'll be too busy. So actually, after those first two BAFTAs, I didn't really get offered anything, which makes you think, 'Oh, no! And, after I finished the second series of 'Broadchurch', nothing came up for six months, which is a really long time and I got a bit panicky."
The 'Rev' star confessed that although she's received praise for her work throughout her career, she never expected 'Broadchurch' to become so successful.
She explained: "I'd always worked steadily and, maybe once a day or so, someone would tell me that they loved 'Peep Show'. But 'Broadchurch' was a totally different thing. The level of interest was actually quite intimidating."
Olivia also admitted she found it frustrating having to film certain scenes away from the prying eyes of photographers to stop top secret storylines from being revealed.
Colman added to Radio Times magazine: "On the second one, there were so many long lenses around that we had to film scenes that gave anything away indoors. Maybe I'm just naïve but I don't see why people would want to ruin it for viewers."

Kristina Rihanoff's former dance partner has branded her a "wild cat".
The professional dancer - who has been romantically linked with her former 'Strictly Come Dancing' partner Ben Cohen and previously dated another show partner, Joe Calzaghe, and dancer Vincent Simone - worked with Michael Wentink for two years until 2007 but he found her "inappropriate" way of dressing and "animalistic" dance style too much to handle.
He said: "Kristina is like a wild cat on the dancefloor and I simply found it all too much.
"She was very provocative and would always wear clothes that were very inappropriate.
"She loved wearing bra tops that showed off everything and short skirts that left little to the imagination.
"She pushed the sex button too much and exploited the whole thing.
"Nothing ever went on between us but I can see how relationships develop as you are dancing so closely to one another. But her animalistic style just didn't suit me."
And Michael admits Kristina's raunchy moves often left him feeling uncomfortable.
He added to Closer magazine: "She always wanted to dance so closely and would fling her legs around me.
"She is an attractive woman but it just felt uncomfortable. Ballroom and Latin dancing was supposed to be classy and sophisticated."
Kristina spoke out last month after she was branded a home-wrecker when Ben - who split from his wife last year - was seen leaving her apartment.
She said: "It is like now I've been drawn as a maneater and now I am not allowed to be anything other than that. My past should be allowed to be my past."
