Try Star to perform X Ambassadors’ Boom on X Factor

Try Star will perform X Ambassadors’ ‘Boom’ tonight (16.11.19) on ‘The X Factor: Celebrity’.
The trio – comprised of rugby players Thom Evans, Ben Foden and Levi Davis – say they have chosen the track because it is a "really big marker to where we see ourselves as artists".
Levi exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "We’re doing an X Ambassadors track. When you hear the song it’s upbeat and you can hear the musicianship and the artistry that’s gone into it.
"This weekend is a really big marker to where we see ourselves as artists past the show. I think when people see it they’re gonna really like it both for the element of the performance but also musically as well."
And the band have already discussed working on an album together after the show ends, with Ben explaining that Levi is a talented songwriter.
He said: "Levi writes quite a lot, we’ve all talked about our sound and where we want to be, we’re always bouncing ideas off each other as well and we want to write and get the studio with the guys from Syco and come up with something great."
Meanwhile, Thom has revealed he is so serious about the band that he has put his love life on hold in order to focus on the music.
He told The Sun’s Bizarre column: "I have lots of men and women sliding into my DMs. I always try to reply.
"I’d never date anyone from Instagram or an app — I would prefer to meet someone in real life, to be honest. I would prefer to meet someone in the moment. I’m single and there are lots of lovely girls on X Factor but I’ve been focused on the band.
"It’s been pretty stressful learning the songs so I’ve no time to indulge in women.
"We want to go all the way. It’s never been a joke — we all want a record deal. We aren’t used to performing so we are learning."
