Tommy Mallet wants normal life

Tommy Mallet wants to lead a "normal" life.
The ‘Only Way is Essex’ insists he isn’t interested in being famous and doesn’t consider himself to be a celebrity and would like to step away from social media and carry on under the radar.
He said: "I don’t think we’re one bit famous. I just think we’re well known.
"If somene leaves ‘TWOIE’ they just drop off overnight – if you’re a celebrity that doesn’t happen.
"I love being normal so much that it makes me not want to be on TV.
"I’d like to delete my Instagram and just have a normal life."
However, the 26-year-old star has no plans to quit ‘TOWIE’ but will be cutting back on filming to focus on his footwear brand.
Asked if he thinks about leaving, he said: "Yeah, only because of time. I’m on a mission to do what I want to do and I don’t think gossiping is going to get me there.
"I’m not leaving the show – if I was going to leave I would have ages ago – but I’ll cut down on filming.
"’TOWIE’ have been really supportive of my business."
Tommy and his girlfriend, Georgia Kousoulou, have been together since 2014 and they think their relationship has lasted so long because they won’t "sell their souls" and cause drama for the sake of creating good TV.
Tommy told OK! magazine: "We actually like each other. We’re a couple first and ‘TOWIE’ comes second. And we don’t make up arguments to get screen time!
"Everything you see is real – we are the same couple on screen as we are at home."
Georgia added: "We’d never sell our souls for the camera – we communicate with each other and trust each other."
