Tommy Mallet sent birthday wishes to Craig David by offering to gift him a pair of his trainers.
The 24-year-old ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star took to his Twitter account on Thursday (05.05.16) to send his best wishes to singer Craig who has just turned 35.
But keen to catch the attention of his music idol, Tommy also offered to send him a new pair of his Mallet Footwear trainers for free.
Tommy – who runs the footwear company – tweeted: "@CraigDavid Happy birthday mate!! Holla me il send you some trainers over x (sic)"
The generous gesture comes just months after Tommy revealed he’d like the ‘Seven Days’ singer to perform at his wedding.
Tommy has been dating girlfriend and ‘TOWIE’ co-star Georgia Kousoulou for 18 months and in February this year, Tommy and Georgia revealed that they had already started planning their dream wedding – even though the lovebirds are yet to get engaged.
At the time, he said: "Arg (James Argent) is going to sing. I’d love to get Craig David there, too – I’m a huge fan!’ An Arg/Craig duet is something we would love to see. Maybe a big band rendition of ‘7 Days’? Craig, listen up!"
Tommy bought Georgia a Cartier a promise ring in 2015 and in an interview in February this year Georgia said she believed they would be betrothed by the end of the year.
