Tom Fletcher to release a musical editon of his novel The Christmasaurus

Tom Fletcher is releasing a special musical edition of his novel ‘The Christmasaurus’.
The 32-year-old singer-songwriter will, on November 16, achieve a world first by becoming the only artist to ever produce a soundtrack for their own novel.
Tom explained: "This book all began with a song. It was called …’The Christmasaurus’! That song inspired this whole story and as I began writing the book I wrote more songs that helped me tell the story and bring the characters to life.
"The book was released last year, but I knew that somehow I wanted to get these songs out there too. I see them as a soundtrack to the book and, while the book can be read on its own, just as the songs can be listened to without reading the book, you only get the full story when you combine the two."
Tom has written and performed all 14 of the never-before-heard songs that appear on the CD.
It has been announced, too, that the disk will feature music played by a full orchestra, as well as solos from Giovanna Fletcher, Tom’s author wife, and Carrie Hope-Fletcher, his younger sister.
In addition to announcing details of the musical version of his novel, Tom has also revealed the identity of the special guests who will be joining him for ‘The Christmasaurus – Live On Stage’.
The McFly star will be appearing in the show – which will be staged at the Eventim Apollo in London between December 21 and 28 – alongside Giovanna and Carrie, as well as Harry Judd and Matt Willis.
The production – which will feature all of the new songs – is being directed by Derek Bond and has been adapted for the stage by Miranda Larson.
