Tom Fletcher more career driven as a dad

Tom Fletcher feels more career driven now he’s a father.
The McFly singer believes he’s become more focused on the band and their success since he and wife Giovanna became parents to sons Buzz, two, and Buddy, three months, because they’ve given him a new prospective.
Speaking on UK TV show ‘Loose Women’ on Wednesday (01.06.16), he said: "Being a dad you realise it’s not about you anymore, you realise it’s about your kids and…all the cliches are just so true, I’ve found, and it changes everything that you do and you realise why you’re doing it, who you’re doing it for. It gives you a real purpose and interestingly I’ve become far more driven in my career and in my life since having the kids and I didn’t expect that to happen and [it’s] because I know why I’m doing it now."
And, although the couple – who got married in 2012 – have their hands full with their little ones at the moment, Giovanna hasn’t ruled out adding to their brood soon.
She told OK! magazine earlier this week: "Yes, I can see our family growing, definitely.
"[Buzz] absolutely loves [having a brother]. All he wants to do is cuddle and kiss Buddy. It’s really cute seeing their bond grow."
Meanwhile, it seems Tom will be able to spend more time with his little ones this summer as his band has been forced to postpone their tour this month after his band mate Harry Judd was stricken by a herniated disc.
The tour – their first shows as McFly since 2013 – will still go ahead but will take place in September instead.
