Tokio Myers and Ned Woodman for BGT final

Tokio Myers and Ned Woodman have made it through to the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ final.
Eight more acts lined up to wow audiences in the third of the live semi finals on Wednesday (31.05.17), and it was 32-year-old musician Tokio and nine-year-old comedian Ned who managed to bag the two places up for grabs in Saturday (03.06.17) night’s live final.
Tokio’s unusual talent of combining classical music with pop hits stunned audiences into voting him as the night’s winner, after he took to his piano to perform a haunting piece which led judge and show boss Simon Cowell to dub him one of the "best contestants" to ever appear on the show.
He said: "You are one of the best contestants we’ve had on. Right now is your time. Whatever you’ve gone through in the past has taken you to this point."
Ned’s brand of cheeky comedy also pleased the voting public as he poked fun at the judges and said hosts Ant and Dec’s recent OBE honour stands for "Old Boring Entertainers", earning him the runner up of the night and securing his place in the final.
Meanwhile, it was singer Sarah Ikumu – who had a free ride to the semi finals after being the chosen golden buzzer act for Simon Cowell – who narrowly missed out on a spot in the final as her powerful rendition of Prince’s ‘Purple Rain’ didn’t quite get her the votes she needed.
Elsewhere, Irish dancer David Geaney, singing robot Jay Wynn, magician Josephine Lee, dance troupe London School of Bollywood, and father-daughter singing duo Martin and Faye failed to impress the voting public and were all sent home.
Tokio and Ned will join the four acts already through to the final – comedian and magician Matt Edwards, fellow magician Issy Simspon, singer Kyle Tomlinson, and magic duo DNA – when they take to the stage to battle for the public vote for the last time on Saturday.
