Tinchy Stryder keen for Dappy collaboration

Tinchy Stryder wants to work with Dappy again.

The 28-year-old rapper – who had a number one hit with the 27-year-old star with 2011 single ‘Spaceship’ – has admitted he has "always got time" to team up with the N-Dubz singer and hinted they could join forces soon.

Speaking at the ‘Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’ Day Zero event in east London last night (03.11.14), Tinchy exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Dapz is super-talented, super-cool. I haven’t seen him for a while now but we’ve got that connection from when we see each other in the studio.

"It’s never ever planned. I hope he’s good, man, Dappy is cool. One thing you can’t take away from him is that talent.

"He brings that energy and as a person, a good heart. I’ve always got time for Dapz."

The ‘You’re Not Alone’ hitmaker also scored a chart-topping hit with the aptly-named song ‘Number 1’ in 2009 alongside Dappy’s group N-Dubz, who he is in with his cousin Tulisa and good friend Fazer, and Tinchy thinks everything the pair touch turns to gold.

He added: "When we get together we make number ones."

The rapper has likened being in the music industry nowadays to being a professional footballer because he has been in the studio just as much as a Premier League player goes training.

He said: "I’m treating it like football now. Footballers train every day of the week, and we’re in the studio making music every day of the week."

Tinchy was speaking at the ‘Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’ Day Zero event in London. To celebrate the early availability of the game, ‘Call of Duty’ hosted an extra special livestream where the public were able to be part of a celebrity team. ‘Call of Duty’ is out now on all major consoles – www.callofduty.com
