‘There will now be a pause’ Oasis to embark on a ‘period of reflection’ following tour finale

Oasis are to embark on a “period of reflection” after their comeback tour came to an end.

The Wonderwall hitmakers played the final show of their Live ’25 Tour in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Sunday night (23.11.25), and the band have now confirmed they will “pause” to reflect on their 41-date reunion.

Oasis – who are led by brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher – wrote on Instagram: “And so it came to pass.

“The most damaging pop cultural force in recent British history’ found its way into the hearts and minds of a new generation. From Gallagher Hill to the River Plate, from Croke Park on the banks of the Royal Canal to the City Of Angels, the love, joy, tears and euphoria will never be forgotten.

“There will now be a pause for a period of reflection.

Oasis”

Earlier this week, it was reported the group are thought to be exploring plans for a potential greatest hits album, or more shows further down the line.

An insider told The Sun newspaper: “Noel and Liam will both be taking a long break to compute the magnitude of this tour.

“Being back together on stage has been incredible for both of them, and to have guitarist Bonehead back with them for the last shows has been nothing short of phenomenal.

“They’re aware of what their fans want and know the demand would be there if they did decide to put out a new greatest hits album – or to play more shows.”

Oasis have also been offered the chance to play the Coachella music festival in the US, and Benicassim in Spain.

Liam recently admitted the band will sit down and discuss what comes next, but insisted if the decision was solely down to him, he would tour until the day he dies.

A fan wrote on X: “How am i meant to survive if there won’t be another tour next year WE NEED MORE (sic)”

Liam replied: “You will see me next year and the year after and so on just not sure yet if it’ll be with oasis, we need to sit down and discuss these things. If it was all up to me then you know we’d be touring till the day we die as it’s the best thing in the world but UNFORTUNATELY it’s not. (sic)”
