The Wanted’s Jay McGuiness was kicked out of a nightclub in Essex on Sunday morning (09.03.14) after being involved in a fight.
The 23-year-old star was enjoying a night out with his band mate Tom Parker, Tom’s girlfriend Kelsey Hardwick and a group of friends at The Villa nightclub in Epping, Essex, on Saturday night (08.03.14), but was later removed from the club in the early hours of Sunday morning (09.03.14).
A witness told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Everyone was standing around the front door and there was a big kerfuffle in the foyer.
"Jay then got dragged out by the bouncers.
"He was shouting and screaming and they were trying to pull him back. He was putting up a struggle."
Tom, 25, had been booked as a host for the club night and decided to make the occasion a celebration for his girlfriend’s birthday, but the night appeared to have taken a turn for the worst when Jay found himself involved in a brawl.
The ‘Walks Like Rihanna’ hitmaker’s spokesman confirmed the incident yesterday (09.03.14), saying: "There was an altercation in the club that Jay found himself in the middle of. He ended up with minor cuts and bruises."
Tom was spotted with his band mate’s blood on his shirt after helping his pal into a taxi before making his own way home with Kelsey and their friends, but it’s unclear as to what started the fight.
The witness added: "Someone said they were going to check the CCTV to see exactly what happened.
"He was huddled in a corner for a while. Jay got shoved about a lot but he was pretty smashed."
