Kylie Minogue wanted to quit ‘The Voice’ because she didn’t like rejecting the contestants.
The TV talent show mentor admitted having to turn down hopefuls on the show was difficult, and ending their dreams made her consider quitting.
Speaking at a Spotify music event, she said: "It can get you down a bit trying to think of ways to say no because no one wants to say that.
"The fun bits of being a coach are really fun but during the not fun bits you just don’t want to be there."
Kylie explained she "doesn’t really like decision-making", despite her high-profile role as a judge on the BBC singing contest.
She revealed: "It’s intense. You think you’re just never going to come up for air again because the days are very long.
"And for someone who doesn’t really like decision-making, all day is decision-making."
However, the ‘I Should Be So Lucky’ hitmaker has been given the BBC’s word that the contestants – whether they were successful or not – are "taken care of".
She explained: "The BBC assured me they have never had complaints from any of the contestants.
"They really get taken care of so well, whether they go through or they don’t. They leave with a lot of experience."
