The Vamps hit P!NK up for a collaboration

The Vamps have hit Pink up for a collaboration.
The boyband – Brad Simpson, James McVey, Connor Ball and Tristan Evans – are performing at this year’s V Festival on the same line up as the ‘Just Give Me A Reason’ hitmaker and ahead of the music extravaganza, which calls at Hylands Park in Chelmsford, Essex and Weston Park in Staffordshire, West Midlands from August 19 to August 20, they tweeted her about a potential duet.
Taking to Twitter, they wrote: "Hi @Pink really love you and your aura. Look, we feel like we should collab. You down? (sic)"
The lads have experience of working with pop divas having teamed up with American pop babe Demi Lovato on ‘Somebody to You’ three years ago.
An insider told BANG Showbiz: "Since their huge hit with Demi Lovato in 2014, the Vamps boys are always looking out for interesting new acts to collaborate with, but have so little time to sync diaries – knowing they’re on the bill with Pink at V Festival in August must have got them planning ahead. They’re huge fans and know she’s an incredible songwriter and live performer."
The 37-year-old singer is rumoured to be hard at work in the studio and V Festival in August is the first time they can make it happen.
Meanwhile, the ‘Can We Dance’ hitmakers recently revealed they are still in touch with Taylor Swift.
They first rubbed shoulders with the Nashville beauty when they supported her on the UK leg of her 2014 ‘Red’ Tour and they are still in contact with the ‘I Don’t Wanna Live Forever’ singer today.
Tristan said: "Yeah we keep in contact with Taylor Swift, [We last heard from her] 24-hours ago."
But when asked to expand on what they spoke about, Tristan simply replied: "[It’s] classified."
James chirped: "Stop texting!" and Tristan joked back: "Yeah, leave me alone you freak."
Pink headlines V Festival 2017 taking place on 19th & 20th of August. The Vamps also play the festival.
