The Only Way is Essex hits Amsterdam next week

‘The Only Way is Essex’ cast are set to shoot a special in Amsterdam next week.
The popular reality TV show has just returned to screens for another installment of drama, tears and romances but bosses are keen to spice things up a little bit over the next coming weeks and think a trip to the Netherlands is the answer.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "’TOWIE’ trips abroad always result in the best storylines as the sun and booze generate plenty of hook-ups.
"In Marbella alone we saw Mario Falcone getting doused in red wine by Lucy Mecklenburgh, Gemma Collins’ infamous ‘you ain’t gonna get this candy’ speech to Arg and Joey Essex and Sam Faiers going on a break.
"So this year producers wanted to spice things up even more by taking the stars to one of the world’s renowned cultural hotspots – Amsterdam. It’s going to be an absolute riot as all the cast will certainly be lured by the temptations and bars of Amsterdam. The jet lag and inability to make themselves understood to hotel staff will also definitely create more catfights and comedy."
And producers are keen to get fans involved after they put an advert out online.
One member of the team said: "#TOWIE is filming in #Amsterdam on 27th March – 29th March! Do u live there? On holiday? Join us for filming! (sic)."
The cast’s trip to the sex capital of the world comes just a few weeks after half of the crew jetted over to Tenerife for a few days to shoot some scenes in the sun.
But things didn’t go according to plan as new girl Amber Turner – who is best friends with Megan McKenna – wreaked havoc when she got close to Dan Edgar following a boozy night out while her boyfriend Jamie Reed was sat at home.
