The Masked Singer judges ‘asked back for 2nd series’

‘The Masked Singer’ judges have been asked back for a second series.
Rita Ora, Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross, and Ken Jeong are all said to have been approached about reprising their roles for another run of the ITV singing show, as has presenter Joel Dommett.
A source said: "Producers loved the chemistry between the talent. They want to recreate it on the next series and are planning to secure them with new contracts.
"The feeling is reciprocated by the judges, who are all delighted and pleasantly surprised by the positive reception from viewers."
ITV and production company Bandicoot are said to have come to an agreement about a second season, and they are now putting their heads together to come up with some "unlikely singers" to take part in next run.
The source added to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: "They are already starting to think about unlikely singers they can unearth to perform in the spectacular costumes."
‘The Masked Singer’ – which originated from South Korean show ‘King of Mask Singer’ – sees stars perform in elaborate costumes, with the judges tasked with guessing who is behind the mask, before they are eventually unveiled.
Several stars have already been unmasked on the current series, including ‘EastEnders’ actress Patsy Palmer, Kelis, Justin Hawkins, and most recently Skin from Skunk Anansie, and Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears, who said performing on the show was "physically" tough.
Jake – who was Unicorn on the show – explained: "If I had known six months before I was going to be doing this, I would have been training my butt off.
"Physically, I found it really difficult. It felt like trying to perform inside a diving bell suit on the bottom of the ocean. You can’t really see, hear or touch anything because you’re totally covered."
