The Last Leg returns with lockdown series

‘The Last Leg’ is to return with a coronavirus lockdown series.
The presenting trio – formed of Adam Hills, Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker – will attempt to screen a live chat show from three different locations over four one-hour episodes to offer ‘The Last Leg: Locked Down Under’.
With Adam in Melbourne, and Josh and Alex in London and Huddersfield, viewers will get a glimpse at how the pandemic has affected the world as the boys mark a first for television.
They will be joined by a special guest, and are inviting viewers at home to join in with the fun by using the Twitter hashtag #isitok.
Ian Katz, Director of Programmes at Channel 4, said, "Adam, Josh and Alex will surely be setting a new record for the most socially distanced entertainment show on the planet by broadcasting live from their homes in Melbourne, London and Huddersfield. What can possibly go wrong?"
Phil Harris, Head of Entertainment at Channel 4, added: "’The Last Leg’ boys have taken on everything from Brexit to the Paralympics but never a pandemic.
"The smartness, speed and adaptability of them and the team to get this show up and running has been incredible, and we can’t wait to have them back on Friday nights."
It comes after a number of Channel 4 programmes were postponed amid the coronavirus crisis.
‘Hollyoaks’ has slashed the number of episodes it airs weekly from five to two, to ensure the soap can stay on TV during the pandemic.
