The Bluetones’ frontman Mark Morriss says Oasis ‘bores him s**tless’

The Bluetone’s Mark Morriss says Oasis "bore him s**tless."
The 44-year-old singer has lashed out at the rival rock band for their lack of drive and thinks the frontman Liam Gallagher should concentrate on his clothing collection Pretty Green instead of contemplating a musical comeback.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Mark said: "I’ve got no interest in Oasis’ music and their fans are generally horrible – they attract an element that I don’t find appealing – a stadium full of guys peeing into pint pots, it’s not really my band. I’ve never been an Oasis fan – it bores me s**tless."
The Bluetones formed in Hounslow, London, in 1993 and were made up of Mark on vocals, Adam Devlin on guitar, Scott Morriss on bass guitar, and Eds Chesters on drums.
But despite having 13 Top 40 singles and three Top 10 albums in the UK charts, the band split in 2011 following a farewell tour, which ended with a concert in Osaka, Japan. However, the band announced a UK comeback tour in April 2015 and, as someone who has experience of leaving the music scene and coming back, Mark thinks Liam should swerve the reunion because he doesn’t even like music.
He explained: "Oh I love Liam, I have nothing against him but I would say he should just concentrate on his shirts now, the polo shirts, the jumpers and the trousers because I think he’s probably better suited to that. He doesn’t strike me as a man who is passionate about music so why should he feel like he should get involved – he probably doesn’t want to."
