Taylor Swift to headline Capital Jingle Bell Ball

Taylor Swift will headline the second day of Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball this year.

The 24-year-old singer will take to the stage at London’s O2 Arena on December 7 to perform several of her hits, and she has called on fans to get ready to have a "party" with her when she tops the bill at the spectacle.

She said: "I love Christmas and I am so excited to be performing at this year’s ball. I hope Capital listeners are ready to party with me!"

Several other stars including Taylor’s good friend Ed Sheeran will also be performing on December 7 at the Capital Jingle Bell Ball with Morrisons, and the flame-haired singer has requested puppies for his dressing room.

He said: "I’m really looking forward to performing at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball but I have one request – I’d like puppies for my dressing room!

"I’d like at least one – someone at Capital must have a puppy they can bring for me!"

Ed and Taylor will be joined at the event by 5 Seconds of Summer, Sam Smith, Jessie J, Rixton, Fuse ODG and Sigma.

Take That are set to headline the spectacle on Saturday December 6, and they will be joined by the likes of One Republic, The Script and The Vamps as well as Ella Henderson, Olly Murs, Clean Bandit and Jess Glynne.

Gary Barlow said: "We’ve never played Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball before so we’re all really excited.

"We’re going to play all the hits and all the songs that everyone loves, and who knows, we may even throw the new single in there!"

Tickets for Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Morrisons go on sale tomorrow (07.11.14) at 8am from www.capitalfm.com.
