Demi Lovato admits Taylor Swift is one of the few celebrities she is friends with.
The 22-year-old singer, who distanced herself from her former best friend Selena Gomez earlier this year, says the ‘Shake It Off’ hitmaker is still a "good friend" and hasn’t changed despite her success.
Asked about the blonde beauty, the ‘Heart Attack’ singer said: "She’s one person that I feel like, one of the few people I’ve maintained a friendship with in this industry."
Possibly alluding to her bitter dispute with Selena, who she has known since they were seven, she added: "[Fame] just changes people and it’s hard because you have incredible friendships and people change."
The ‘Neon Lights’ singer sparked rumours she and Selena – who both sought treatment in rehab in the past – had ended their friendship in July after she wrote on Twitter: "Swimming away from the bullsh*t bye b*tch (sic)," but later deleted the post.
A source later said: "Demi doesn’t need any extra drama, she’s learned from her own recovery to lose the people that bring her down and Selena is to much of a headache."
Meanwhile, the former ‘X Factor’ USA judge is planning to coordinate her Halloween costume with her long-term boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama, this year.
She told ‘ET Canada’: "It’s never happened really in the past, although we have kind of ended up…our costumes end up matching."
