Tara Reid has hinted a new ‘American Pie’ film is in the works.
The 39-year-old actress starred in the 1999 original but has now suggested a fifth theatrical film could be added to the series, with the movie set in Las Vegas.
Speaking on KIIS FM’s ‘Kyle & Jackie O Show’, she said: "There’s actually talks about [a fifth movie], they may be doing it in Las Vegas."
The former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ star – who played Vicky in the films – added she is eager to return to the franchise, as the theatrical films have grossed more than $989 million worldwide.
It was previously believed ‘American Reunion’, which hit cinema screens in 2012 following a nine-year hiatus, would be the final film in the series, but bosses were reportedly impressed by how it performed at the box office and are keen to capitalise on its success.
However, the ‘Sharknado’ star admitted there would be tension on set if the film did happen, as she has been left disappointed by co-star Jason Biggs who last year said "no one knows what’s going on with Tara’s body".
Responding to the comments, she insisted: "I don’t like his statements in the press but I like him as a person."
