Take That share vocals and songwriting on albums

Take That bucked the trend of previous years when they released their 2008 album ‘The Circus’ for it was the first time the band had all contributed to songs on the album – whether it be writing credits or vocals.
It was the first time fans had heard Jason Orange take the lead vocals, as previously it had been Gary, Robbie or Mark who took centre stage.
Jason performed ‘Wooden Boat’ and also Howard Donald also had more of a role at the forefront of the band when he sang lead vocals on ‘What is Love’ and ‘Here’ and ‘Affirmation’ on ‘Progress’ album.
And despite Jason’s departure form the band in 2015, the boys have recently confirmed they have something special planned for ‘Wooden Boat’ as part of the 2017 ‘Wonderland’ tour – should Jason decide to return.
