Susanna Reid will ‘miss’ Bill Turnbull on Good Morning Britain

Susanna Reid is going to "miss" working alongside Bill Turnbull.
The 49-year-old TV presenter was reunited with her former ‘BBC Breakfast’ co-host for three episodes of ‘Good Morning Britain’ this week as he stepped in for Piers Morgan, and Susanna enjoyed Bill’s "desperate attempts to keep us on time", and found it hilarious when his ear piece went missing.
While bringing today’s (26.02.20) show to a close, she said: "Bill, it’s been an absolute pleasure. I’m going to miss you.
"I love your desperate attempts to keep us on time.
"And my favourite moment was the whole team looking for your ear piece."
Bill – who has been fighting prostate cancer – then said: "Yes, and it was in my script. You were all looking, on the floor everywhere.
"It just popped out of my ear, one of those little peanut things.
"Then we found it in the papers.
"Thank you for having me. ‘Good Morning Britain’ is back tomorrow from six, now it’s time to join Lorraine."
Lorraine Kelly thanked the TV presenter for handing over to her, and she hopes he will be back co-hosting ‘GMB’ "real soon".
She said: "Thank you, Bill. Oh I love, Bill. He’s got to come back real soon, fantastic.
"That was so lovely."
Bill reunited with his former co-host Susanna – who he worked with on ‘BBC Breakfast’ until she left for ITV in 2014 – on ‘Good Morning Britain’ on Monday.
The veteran broadcaster admitted he was "thrilled" to be working alongside her again.
Susanna said on the show: "I haven’t heard that for a number of years, Susanna Reid and Bill Turnbull."
Bill added: "I know, go on pinch me because I can’t believe this is really happening."
Susanna and Bill shared an emotional embrace, before Bill joked: "And to be on the television with the legend that is Andi Peters."
She said: "I’ve now got Therapeutic Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday."
