Strictly Come Dancing to recruit a royal?

‘Strictly Come Dancing’ bosses are reportedly eyeing royals such as Zara Tindall and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, for the upcoming series.
The BBC Latin and ballroom dance competition is said to be keen to get a member of the royal family on board for the upcoming series which will air toward the end of the this year, and are looking at the likes of Duchess Sarah, Zara, and Zara’s husband Mike Tindall as possible candidates.
A source told The Sunday Mirror newspaper: "Strictly is a proper family show and hugely respected, so bosses think it wouldn’t be a problem for a royal to take to the dance floor."
The speculation comes as Sophie, Countess of Wessex, and her daughter Lady Louise Windsor previously appeared in the audience of the show, whilst Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, is known to be a fan.
However, a ‘Strictly’ spokesperson said: "We don’t comment on speculation and the line-up will be announced in due course."
Meanwhile, it was previously claimed several of the show’s professional dancers are worried that new boss Sarah James will look to give the programme a makeover, especially following the departure of dancer Pasha Kovalev.
A source said: "Pasha’s surprise departure means a lot of the professionals are really worried. The dancers are wondering if the new show boss is going to start a mass cull and replace a lot of the current pros.
"They are messaging each other frantically as they try to work out what the plans are. Nobody saw Pasha leaving and the rumour mill has gone into overdrive, with everyone saying a few other names are going to be chopped – or at least announce it was their choice to leave the programme.
"Even Anton, who is almost part of the furniture, is worried he might not be asked back."
