Strictly Come Dancing to bag a Spice Girl for new series?

‘Strictly Come Dancing’ bosses are hoping to bag a Spice Girl for the new series.
Producers of the ballroom and latin show are frantically trying to put their celebrity line up together ahead of the launch in September – and top of their list is a member of the 90s girl group as they believe it’ll be the "cherry on the cake" to secure them.
A source told The Sun Online: "Having a Spice Girl on this year’s show would be a huge coup for the show’s bosses.
"Their comeback is still the talk of the town and everyone knows it’s going to be huge. Having one of the Spice Girls taking part would be the cherry on the cake this year."
It’s not yet known who bosses have their eye on from the group but Emma Bunton is out of the running as she took part in series four of the competition back in 2006.
It’s highly unlikely that Victoria Beckham will slip into a crystal-embellished dress and hit the dance floor this year as she’s busy with her highly-successful fashion empire.
Mel B may also be off the list as she took part in America’s version ‘Dancing With the Stars’, in which she finished runner up, in 2007 and probably won’t do it again.
With those three out already, it looks like Geri Horner and Mel C are the only ones left to approach but bosses will have to work extra hard if they want to secure the ginger singer as she previously admitted, although she loves the show, she would struggle.
She said recently: "When I was in the Spice Girls, having to learn dance routines when I’m not a trained dancer was very full-on. It would take me longer than it took everybody else and it was hard work. I love dancing but having to learn moves…"
