Stormzy wins big at Daily Rated Awards 2017 winners

Stormzy triumphed at the KA & GRM Daily Rated Awards 2017 on Tuesday night (24.10.17) and surprised the audience with a live performance.
The grime rapper won the Music Video of the Year prize for his monster single ‘Big For Your Boots’ and he added to his haul with further recognition in the Artist of the Year category.
Stormzy – whose debut album ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’ was the first grime record to top the UK album chart – said: "There have been so many artists that have inspired me in my career and I’ve worked very hard this year so thank you. I love you guys."
The ceremony in London – which is in its third year – prides itself on being voted for by fans, besides industry-determined prizes Artist of the Year and Best Video Director, with the latter being won by Kaylum Dennis.
Meanwhile, rapper Lethal Bizzle was delighted to be recognised by the fans in the prestigious Legacy category.
He said: "I want to dedicate the award to everyone in the room right now, from artists in the UK to everyone in the industry from the radio stations to all the DJs, the press – a big shout out to my manager as well.
"This is the most important thing I’ve won in my career, so thank you!"
Posty & Mistajam presented him with the coveted honour, and he marked the special night with a live performance.
