Stephen K. Amos: Laughter bonds people

Stephen K. Amos thinks laughter "bonds" people together.
The 50-year-old comedian thinks we need to inject laughter and fun into the world.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz at the Attitude Pride Awards at the Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge, London Stephen said: "Last night I was at another function and it was very difficult, very serious to hear these stories but I also think you have to inject a bit of humanity as well and get the layers going. It’s a balancing act and people can’t be looking and see all the doom and gloom and all the negativity, or even the success stories, they need to see all facets that encompass a human being and laughter is one of them.
"Laughter is one of the things that bonds people together. If you’d seen me last night hosting these key note speeches, people here this afternoon were there. It was outrageous because I’m like, you know what guys, let’s have a laugh. If we all keep it on one tone, one level, it’ll be f***ing boring, and I don’t do boring."
The comic also spoke about his fondness of fellow guest, Will Young, and reminisced on his first encounter with the singer
He added: "He’s amazing, he’s one of the people that really puts himself on the line and I think that it’s so incredible."
