Stephen Fry has hinted he may have recorded a cameo for ‘American Dad!’
The ‘Blackadder’ star has a number of voice acting roles under his belt and he’s now revealed he may have added another to his CV by taking on a role in the US animation series.
Writing on Twitter, he said: "That was fun – just played an @AmericanDadFOX character. My life is complete."
The 57-year-old actor and comedian – who has starred in a number of blockbuster movies including ‘The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug’ and ‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows’ in addition to his TV roles – went on to joke that he wouldn’t be happy until he’d appeared on long-running BBC medical drama ‘Casualty’.
He added: "Oh wait, I haven’t been on @BBCCasualty yet. (sic)"
Other stars who have had cameos in ‘American Dad!’ – which was created by ‘Family Guy’ funnyman Seth MacFarlane – include Amanda Seyfried, ‘Mad Men’ star Jon Hamm and Mariah Carey, although it is so far unclear whether Stephen himself is set to appear in an episode.
