The 38-year-old actress, who is best known for portraying Cindy Cunningham in ‘Hollyoaks’, has revealed she is intent on getting in shape in the new year, saying she will feel happier once she gets in better condition.
Asked whether she had any New Year’s resolutions, Stephanie exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Always to get fit. Everyone always wants to get fit in the New Year so you know just to be happy and be happy in myself and enjoy my work."
Stephanie is currently dating former ‘EastEnders’ actor Michael Greco, and she revealed that they are set for a low-key Christmas.
She shared: "We’re having a quiet Christmas and we’ve not really planned New Year’s."
The actress also insisted she has fairly modest expectations when it comes to receiving Christmas gifts, even though she relishes spoiling other people.
Stephanie explained: "Always, to be honest, I like to spoil people at Christmas. I’m happy with whatever. No pressure."
Earlier this month, meanwhile, Stephanie admitted she "really hopes" Davinia Taylor will return to ‘Hollyoaks’ in 2017.
The actress thoroughly enjoyed having her on-screen sister – who plays Jude Cunningham – back in Chester and would love nothing more than to see her return in 2017.
She said: "It was amazing we fell back into that old relationship we had when we were teenagers obviously a lot more grown up and hopefully a lot more wiser but yeah I can’t wait until she comes back.
"I hope she comes back. You never know what happens. She’s got a schedule and we have to fit it in with her schedule as well so hopefully it can be worked out for next year."
