Stan Lee rushed to hospital

Stan Lee was rushed to hospital for shortness of breath, but is now "feeling great".
The 95-year-old comic book legend – who is the founder of Marvel Comics – was taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital on Wednesday (31.01.18) after suffering shortness of breath and an irregular heartbeat, according to TMZ.
A spokesperson for the star – who famously makes a cameo appearance in every Marvel franchise movie – told the gossip site a few hours later that Stan "is doing well and feeling good, he is staying there for a few days for some check ups as a safety precaution."
However, on Thursday (01.02.18), the star himself gave a short interview with ABC 7 in which he claimed he was "feeling great" after spending just one night in the hospital, and was now back at home getting well deserved rest.
He said: "All I really want to do is tell you that I’m feeling great."
At the time of writing it is unknown what exactly caused Stan’s irregular heartbeat, but it seems the star is firmly back on his feet.
Despite being well into his 90s, Stan is showing no signs of slowing down as at the beginning of this week he was spending the night celebrating his latest creation to make it to the big screen at the ‘Black Panther’ premiere.
Whilst there, the writer beamed as he posed for photos alongside the movie’s leading star Chadwick Boseman, who will be taking on the role of T’Challa and his titular alter-ego, which was first created by Stan in 1966 alongside artist Jack Kirby.
‘Black Panther’ is due to hit cinema screens on February 16, and Stan will no doubt be making another red carpet appearance when Marvel ensemble movie ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ premieres before its May 4 release.
