Stan Hasen to be inducted into WWE Hall of Fame

Stan Hasen is to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
The 66-year-old professional wrestler – who is best known by his nickname ‘The Lariat’ for his clothesline move which broke the neck of legend Bruno Sammartino – has been added to this year’s line up of stars.
Stan was most famous in Japan, where he was the first foreigner to win over the likes of Giant Baba and fellow Hall of Fame star Antonia Inoki.
Since his appointment, other wrestling stars have rushed to congratulate Stan on Twitter.
Mick Foley wrote: "Very happy that Stan Hansen is going into the #WWEHOF – a big influence on me as a wrestler; even bigger as a man. (sic)"
Whilst Triple H added: "An #AWA Champion and one of the most feared in-ring competitors all over the world. Welcome #StanHansen to #WWEHOF (sic)"
Meanwhile, alongside the likes of Sting, Big Boss Man and the Fabulous Freebirds, Stan ‘The Lariat’ Hansen will take his place in the WWE Hall of Fame at the Induction Ceremony the night before ‘WrestleMania 32’ takes place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on April 3.
