Stacey Solomon’s guilt over different dads

Stacey Solomon felt "guilty" about having children with different fathers.
The 29-year-old presenter is expecting a baby with boyfriend Joe Swash and also has Zachary, 11, with former partner Dean Cox and Leighton, seven, with ex-fiance Aaron Barnham and admitted she used to worry about being judged and felt "pressure" even from people she was close to.
She said: "I did feel guilty about having babies with different dads.
"I didn’t want my kids to have a negative or confused upbringing.
"There’s a stigma about having babies with different partners – I’ve definitely felt pressure from people – people I don’t know and even people I do know.
"Even those close to me have had their opinions on it and that can hurt."
But the ‘Loose Women’ star has learned to ignore the negative opinions as she knows the most important thing; that her children are being raised in a loving household.
She added to Closer magazine: "Now I just think people with those opinions can mind their own business. I’m one of seven and my parents were divorced – yet I feel totally happy with my upbringing and it didn’t affect me.
"My boys are incredibly loved – by me, and their fathers, and by Joe who is just another positive male role model in their lives. And that can only be good for them.
"They are so content and confident and happy."
And Stacey admitted she and Joe – who has 11-year-old Harry from a previous relationship – wouldn’t have had a baby together if they thought it would have had a negative impact on their sons.
She said: "We wouldn’t have decided to expand our family if we thought it would negatively affect the boys or their upbringing."
