Stacey Solomon joins CelebAbility

Stacey Solomon is a new team captain on ‘CelebAbility’.
The ‘Loose Women’ star is to head up the team on Iain Stirling’s ITV2 panel show, taking the place of fellow former Queen of the Jungle Scarlett Moffatt, and joining regular captain Marek Larwood.
Iain is thrilled to have Stacey on board.
He said: "She is just brilliant. She is an absolute professional, an absolute charmer and a joy to work with.
"It’s been a real honour actually. TV royalty!"
And he revealed Stacey’s partner, Joe Swash, will also be joining her on the programme.
He said: "This series we’ve got Stacey Soloman and Joe Swash who wrap presents competitively against one another. It was one of the most enjoyable moments of my life, watching Joe and Stacey scream at each other while wrapping presents!"
The news is the latest blow for Scarlett as the 29-year-old star has seen a downturn in her fortunes of late, having been replaced on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ spin-off ‘Extra Camp’ last year by Emily Atack.
However, at the time she insisted it was her decision not to fly out to Australia for the show as she was keen to spend more time with her family and boyfriend Scott Dobinson.
And the reality TV star has also been dropped from her "dream job" on ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’ after producers opted to change the format of Ant and Dec’s primetime series.
A source previously explained: "Show bosses are planning lots of new and exciting features for the 2020 series alongside the return of viewer favourites.
"Scarlett Moffatt won’t feature in the new series but she’s not being replaced. It will be just Ant and Dec and Stephen Mulhern who will return to host Ant vs Dec."
ITV have confirmed that Scarlett "won’t feature as a contributor" when the programme – which took a hiatus in 2019 while Ant focused on his sobriety – returns to screens this year.
A spokesperson said: "Scarlett Moffatt won’t feature as a contributor in the 2020 series of ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’.
"We thank Scarlett for all of her hard work on the show and will announce details of the new series nearer transmission."
