Stacey Solomon confirmed for The Jump

Ola Jordan and JB Gill are among the stars confirmed for ‘The Jump’.

The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional and JLS singer will be joined by a host of other celebrities in trying to master winter sports for the Channel 4 series.

A total of sixteen famous faces are currently in training for the second series of the show including ‘Jackass’ daredevil Steve-O, former ‘X Factor’ contestant Stacey Solomon, ‘Made In Chelsea’ star Louise Thompson and the wife of the Speaker of the House of Commons, Sally Bercow.

Completing the line-up are former England rugby captain Mike Tindall, Paralympian Jon-Allan Butterworth, dancer Louie Spence, Pussycat Dolls singer Ashley Roberts, Phil Tufnell, Joey Essex, heptathlete Louise Hazel, socialite Lady Victoria Hervey, ‘Gogglebox’ favourite Dom Parker and Heather Mills.

The competitors will go head to head in a number of events including the skeleton, bobsleigh, slalom and ski cross in a bid to take the Cowbell Trophy from series one champion Joe McElderry.

However, each week, the two celebrities with the lowest scores will have to perform a terrifying ski jump in order to secure their place in the competition for another week.

Guiding them during training will be legendary winter Olympian Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards, skier Graham Bell, skeleton gold medallist Amy Williams and Olympic snowboarder Jenny Jones while Davina McCall will return to host the show when it kicks off in Austria early next year.
