Stacey Dooley thinks Kevin Clifton will make "an amazing father" one day.
The 32-year-old documentary filmmaker and the 32-year-old professional dancer have been dating ever since they got together on the 2018 series of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ – which they won – and the flame-haired beauty has opened up about the prospect of starting a family with her beau.
Speaking about her partner on the ‘HOSTEing Laura Jackson’ podcast, Stacey gushed: "He is an angel. He is the kindest man I’ve met. His temperament is very chilled and he would be an amazing father."
Stacey has admitted she is "back and forth" about starting her own family, and one thing putting her off having kids is fearing for their future with the state of the world and some of the awful things she’s witnessed first-hand making her documentaries.
She continued: "I think I want to have kids I’m sort of back and forth.
"I love the idea of having a gang, a unit, an us against the world. "I love all that. And I would to take care of someone.
"But I’m also quite morbid and because I’ve seen so much s**t, I think what am I bringing them into."
The investigative reporter recently gushed about her relationship with Kevin and insisted she is "happy" and feels "very lucky" to have him.
She said: "Kev and I have agreed not to go into too much detail about our private lives because you can’t really indulge that and then ask for privacy.
"That’s why we’ve turned down interviews that have offered us tens of thousands of pounds. What I am happy to say is Kev’s amazing, I’m happy, life happens, I’ve got an amazing career and I’m very lucky."
