Stacey Dooley and Joe Sugg to host BBC’s NYE concert

‘Strictly Come Dancing’ winner Stacey Dooley and fellow finalist Joe Sugg are to host BBC One’s upcoming New Year’s Eve concert.
The 31-year-old broadcaster and 27-year-old vlogger will co-present the spectacular bash – which will feature music from pop group Madness – live from Central Hall Westminster in London.
Stacey said: "2018 has been such a fantastic year for me, working on some hard-hitting documentaries as well as ‘Strictly’, has been a real treat.
"Presenting with Joe Sugg at the New Year’s Eve concert with Madness is the perfect ending to such a great year."
Joe said: "I’m so excited to be presenting with my fellow ‘Strictly’ pal Stacey Dooley at the incredible New Year’s Eve concert in London with the legendary band Madness.
"What a great finale to a terrific year. Bring on 2019."
The pair will count down to midnight and gear up audiences for a spectacular fireworks display which will light up London over the River Thames.
After the display, Madness will carry on the party with plenty more music.
Stacey – known for making numerous documentaries for the BBC – lit up the ‘Strictly’ dance floor this year with a series of sensational performances alongside her pro partner Kevin Clifton, and the pair lifted the Glitterball Trophy last weekend after viewers voted them the winners.
The New Year’s Eve concert will broadcast live on BBC One at 11.35pm – 11.59pm and then will switch back to the concert after the fireworks display at 12.14am – 1am.
