‘SPECTRE’ was still being edited nine days before its release.
The film’s lead actor Daniel Craig says director Sam Mendes made his final edits to the film last Saturday (17.10.15) despite the fact the movie goes on general release on Monday (26.10.15).
He shared: "Sam finished editing the movie on Saturday, which is the wettest print – because we release next Monday."
And the 47-year-old actor revealed he went through many suits to play the fictional spy because he has to have a new outfit for every day of filming.
He added: "However long it takes to shoot 30 seconds, which can be a day, we have to have one suit for that day, one suit for the next day.
"Every stage of the fight has a different suit. We can get through 30 suits for one sequence."
Daniel – who is married to actress Rachel Weisz and has a daughter, Ella, from a previous relationship – also insists his family "hate" him as he had to be away from them for eight months whilst working on the film.
Speaking on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw, he said: "I’m away from home for eight months so you have to. There’s no other way of doing it. My family hate me. They’re just starting to forgive me now."
