Sophie Turner joins the cast of Huntsville

Sophie Turner has been confirmed to join the cast of ‘Huntsville’.
The ‘Game of Thrones’ actress has joined the cast of indie drama ‘Huntsville’, alongside ‘Perks of Being a Wallflower’ actor Dylan McDermott, and ‘The Nice Guys’ star Jack Kilmer.
Sophie expressed her excitement for the role when she retweeted a tweet from director Eric England which read: "Come join @aragnone @SophieT & I in HUNTSVILLE!! (sic)."
‘Huntsville’ follows the story of Hank – played by 54-year-old Dylan – who is a man living alone in a dull Florida town.
He then raises eyebrows when he starts a questionable relationship with Josie – played by 20-year-old Sophie – who is a recently transferred high school student.
The new film first came together at 2015’s Toronto International Film Festival with Shea Whigham and Anya Taylor-Joy confirmed as cast members, however that fell apart, reportedly due to funding issues.
Sophie – who recently graced the big screen in ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ – has found herself with more time on her hands since it was revealed that the HBO hit ‘Game of Thrones’ will end after its eighth season.
Speaking about the show’s upcoming finale, HBO programming president Casey Bloys said: "Yes, I think [the showrunners, D.B. Weiss and David Benioff] have a very specific plan about the number of seasons they want to do. If I could get them to do more, I would take 10 seasons but we want to take their lead with what they could do and what the best version of the show is."
