Snoop Dogg: Beyoncé is inspirational

Snoop Dogg has described Beyoncé as inspirational.
The legendary rap star has hailed the R&B legend’s new visual album ‘Lemonade’ album as a "conceptually enticing" piece of work, due to its thought provoking lyrical content which hints at her husband Jay Z having an affair.
Snoop insists fans who listen to the LP can learn a lot about the 34-year-old singer.
He said: "I feel like music industry is gonna always have ups and downs but you can’t reinvent the wheel. It’s always about content that’s the best. Like Beyoncé, for example, she has a hot movie with a hot record. You can watch and listen to it, live with it, and you root for her. That’s what music was meant to do."
Snoop prefers Beyoncé’s approach to creating music than artists who simply try to make hit single after hit single.
He explained to VIBE: "No disrespect to those who make hot songs, and follow the fad. It’s just like disco and any other style that got played the f**k out. There are certain things that are meant to come and go and true musicians know how to make material that keeps them around 20 or 30 years later, but they’re still more relevant than what’s new."
He claimed, too, that Beyoncé’s career trajectory – with her starting out in girl group Destiny’s Child – ought to be a lesson for aspiring artists, observing how she has worked her way to the top of the industry.
The ‘Gz and Hustlas’ hitmaker reflected: "She grew into being No. 1 and 15 plus years later she is the ultimate because she teaches how to make a record. To me great artists continue to be great. This is what we do."
Meanwhile, Snoop – who is the star of new reality TV show ‘Coach Snoop’ which chronicles the rise of his youth football team the Diamond Valley Steelers – revealed his ability to inspire others has encouraged him to keep making music.
The 44-year-old star explained: "To me that’s one of the reasons why I do it, because of the inspiration.
"It’s never about me it’s about what I give to everybody else. Snoop is the life of the party, when he walks in everybody pulls their cameras out , they want a picture with Snoop. He’s that man that makes everybody feel good."
