Sky Ferreira had creative control for her Playboy shoot

Sky Ferreira is the cover star of the October issue of Playboy and had full creative control over her photo shoot.
The 24-year-old musician took to Instagram to announce the news that she will be appearing on two covers for the iconic publication’s Renegades issue and is the "first bunny" to ever direct her own shoot.
Sky has also teased that her appearance in the magazine offers the very first visual introduction to her upcoming second album ‘Masochism’.
She uploaded a photo of herself dressed in a casino bunny outfit with the caption: "Hi. I am on the cover of Playboy (October 2016). I am the first bunny ever to be a creative collaborator & creative/art direct. I produced & directed all of the content. It is the first introduction to #Masochism (visually). (sic)"
Sky – who doesn’t have her own management team – also took the time to thank Playboy for treating her "with the upmost respect", and spoke about how she was proud to have made history by becoming the first double cover star in the last 60 years.
The ‘I Blame Myself’ hitmaker wrote: "As a girl without an agency or manager @playboy has treated with the most respect. Not only am I the first creative collaborator ever buuuuut this is also the first double cover within the last 60 years. We just made history (sic)"
The Renegades Playboy issue aims to shine a light on creative individuals who aren’t afraid to bend the rules. Other people featured inside the issue include ballerina turned porn star Stoya, transgender punk rocker Laura Jane Grace, and ‘Fresh Off The Boat’ writer Ali Wong.
The ‘Everything is Embarrassing’ musician enlisted the help of her closest friends to help her make the cover, with her "best friend" Sandy Kim working as the photographer, and actor Bruce Dern conducting the interview.
Sky wrote: "Both of my @playboy covers are officially out. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without my closest friends. We worked on it the entire summer. @sandycandykim & I shot thousands of photos (literally). The incredible actor & friend Bruce Dern did my interview. (sic)"
Playboy Magazine’s Renegades issue is out September 27.
