Simon Cowell wants to bring back a celebrity version of the X Factor.
The last time that the contestants of the popular show were celebrities was back in 2006, with stars as Chris Movles, Rebbeca Loos and Gillian McKeith. At that time the program took the name of X Factor: Battle Of The Stars. Unfortunately, the show was cancelled at the decision of the makers, but now Simon is trying to bring it back.
Simon states that it would be a nice idea to try the X Factor Celebrity show again maybe for Text Santa, the ITV charity appeal giving a high number of charities around the country.
Hopefully, the celebrities will raise even more funds. Simon thinks people are going to be more invested in the contestants this year than last year, and he pointed out that they are going to be even more interested if the contestants are famous.
