Simon Cowell says Sinitta is a "great" godmother to his son Eric.
The 54-year-old music mogul has enlisted his long time pal and former flame as one of his eight-week-old tot’s godparents and she has already spoiled him with lots of gifts.
Speaking at the launch of the new series of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ in London yesterday (09.04.14), Simon told BANG Showbiz: "She’s great. She’s bought loads of presents round. She’s been great, she loves kids."
Simon – whose girlfriend Lauren Silverman gave birth to Eric on Valentine’s Day (14.02.14) – revealed he has got a shortlist of other potential godparents to join the ‘So Macho’ singer, but won’t name names until they’ve been asked.
He added: "I’ve got a few ideas, but I’ve got to ask them first of all."
‘The X Factor’ star also paid tribute to late socialite Peaches Geldof, who tragically passed away at the age of 25 on Monday (07.04.14).
He said: "I met her a few times – in fact, she came down to the show, and she was a sweet, fun girl. What that family’s had to go through over the years, it’s unbearable. What can you say in a situation like that? It’s very sad."
