Simon Cowell ‘doing better’ after fall

Simon Cowell is "doing so much better" after falling down the stairs last week.
The 58-year-old entertainment mogul was rushed to hospital early on Friday (27.10.17) morning after he took a tumble down the stairs of his London home when heading downstairs to retrieve a glass of milk to help him sleep.
The accident forced the star to miss the first weekend of live shows on UK talent competition ‘The X Factor’, but almost a week later, fellow judge Sharon Osbourne has said Simon is on the mend.
She revealed: "He’s doing so much better. His partner, Lauren, came down to [‘The X Factor’] on both nights, so she was there flying Simon’s flag."
And Sharon, 65, claims Simon’s partner Lauren Silverman – with whom he has three-year-old son Eric – believes the fall was made worse by Simon’s struggle with "low blood pressure".
Speaking on her US talk show ‘The Talk’, Sharon said: "She was just saying that he suffers from low blood pressure anyway. Because of the concussion, that’s why he couldn’t come back."
It comes after Simon himself admitted low blood pressure was to blame for his slip, and has vowed to change his lifestyle in order to make sure he is as fit as he can be to be a responsible father for Eric.
He said recently: "Sometimes we get a reminder that we’re not invincible and this was certainly mine. It was a huge shock.
They think I fainted because I had low blood pressure and so I have got to really take good care of myself to sort that out.
"After all I am a dad and have more responsibility than ever."
After coming round following the fall, Simon was concerned he had done "some real damage" and is now grateful he didn’t "seriously" hurt himself.
He added: "I’d gone to get some hot milk because I felt ropey. On the way back upstairs, I just remember feeling really dizzy.
"Next thing I know someone was putting a neck brace on me and I had a terrible headache, which must have been from me hitting the stairs. I was worried at first that I’d done some real damage.
"But I’m on the mend now. I know I was very lucky I didn’t hurt myself seriously.
"It could have been a lot worse. I must say, everyone at the hospital were incredible. I’m truly grateful."
