Stars support Ellen Page coming out

Anna Kendrick and many other stars have sent messages of praise to Ellen Page for coming out.
The 'Inception' star announced she is gay on Friday (14.02.14), prompting many to show their love and appreciation for her brave move.
Anna - who starred alongside Ellen in 'Juno' - wrote on Twitter: "Mad mad mad mad mad mad crazy love and praise for @EllenPage today. Congrats to you, you light, talent, and beauty.(sic)"
Ricky Martin - who famously came out over the intent in 2010 - tweeted: "Very beautiful Ellen Page!!! I'm very happy for you!!! You are free! (sic)"
Paramore singer Hayley Williams added: "Ellen Page just made me cry on Valentine's Day. With HAPPY TEARS!"
Actress Evan Rachel Wood and reality TV star Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi also congratulated Ellen, as did former *N Sync star Lance Bass.
He tweeted: "I just watched Ellen Page come out! Wow! What a speech! Congrats!! (sic)"
Ellen made her announcement at Human Rights Campaign's Time to Thrive event in Las Vegas, Nevada with a passionate statement.
She said: "I'm here today because I'm gay. And because maybe I can make a difference - to help others have an easier and more hopeful time.
"Regardless, for me, I feel a personal obligation and a social responsibility. I also do it selfishly, because I am tired of hiding and I am tired of lying by omission. I suffered for years because I was scared to be out.
"My spirit suffered, my mental health suffered and my relationships suffered. And I'm standing here today, with all of you, on the other side of all that pain."

Taylor Swift gets Olympic Valentine

Taylor Swift received a Valentine's message from an Olympian.
The unlucky-in-love '22' singer received a sweet message from Freestyle skiing slopestyle bronze medalist Nick Goepper - who is currently competing in the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia - who posed with his medal and a whiteboard with a heart in in and the message: "Taylor Swift, will you be my Valentine?"
Currently single Taylor has yet to respond, but spent the romantic day yesterday (14.02.14) in the studio recording.
She posted a picture of her with producers Karl Johan Schuster and Max Martin.
She captioned the picture, which shows them celebrating with glasses of champagne: "It was a studio Valentines Day with Max and Johan!"
Taylor, 23, is famous for her celebrity romances, having previously dated John Mayer, Taylor Lautner, Jake Gyllenhaal and Conor Kennedy, and also for writing songs about her exes. However, she has only ever publicly confirmed who one of her tracks is about, admitting 'I Knew You Were Trouble' was written for One Direction singer Harry Styles, who she dated in 2012.

Chris Brown sued over basketball game beating

Chris Brown is being sued by man who claims he was beaten by the singer during a basketball game.
Malcolm Ausbon has filed court documents claiming the 'Beautiful People' star and his entourage hit him during a game at 24 Hour Fitness in north Los Angeles last summer.
The documents claim: "When Ausbon expressed dissatisfaction with Brown's behaviour, Brown threatened to 'kick his ass' and 'put these hands on you.' Additionally, Brown claimed to be a member of the 'Bloods' a street gang engaged in criminal activity, not limited to murder, drugs, extortion and crime."
The filing further claims he tried to leave the scene Chris and his security started to "strike, punch, kick, pull and stomp Ausbon's head and body," resulting in him having to go to hospital.
Chris, 24, has been on probation since his 2009 assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna, which was revoked last December following a fight in Washington D.C.
He is currently undergoing a 90-day court-ordered treatment in rehab for anger management issues.
The Los Angeles District Attorney had asked for him to be taken into custody over the Washington assault, but a judge ruled he is better off where he is earlier this month. Both assault cases are ongoing.

Lady Gaga bitten by slow loris

Lady Gaga was bitten by a slow loris on the set of her new music video.
The eccentric singer was filming the clip for 'G.U.Y. (Girl Under You)' in California when the cute creature - a small primate from Asia, which is an endangered species - sunk its teeth into her.
A source told the New York Post Newspaper: "The slow loris is the cutest creature on the planet, and Lady Gaga wanted to use it in one scene, but it nipped her. They put it back in its box and took it away in disgrace."
Gaga, 27, was unhurt, with the source saying "she just laughed about it," but had a lucky escape, as the slow loris is the only venomous primate and wild ones can inflict a flesh-rotting poison deadly to humans.
The animal trainer also brought a baby kangaroo and an exotic goat to the set, but none were eventually used, after a California State Parks Department vetoed the idea.
The video was shot at Heart Castle, the residence built by eccentric former publishing magnate William Randolph Hearst in1919.
Gaga donated $250,000 to the Hearst Castle Preservation Foundation after completing the shoot to thank them for letting her use it.

Mariah Carey entices husband home with candy bra

Mariah Carey wore a bra made of candy to entice Nick Cannon home for Valentine's Day.
The 'Hero' singer had been complaining about having to spent the romantic day yesterday (14.02.14) apart from her husband - who said he was busy filming 'America's Got Talent' - and posted a series of seductive pictures designed to bring him home.
Next to a photo in her candy bra Mariah wrote: "Waiting for my Valentine..."
Next to another shot of her wearing the bra in a bath, surrounded by balloons, she said: "Champagne, bubbles + candy and no Valentine yet..."
However, shortly afterward, Nick, 33, made a surprise appearance back at home, and they posted another photo of him scooping her up in his arms and presenting her with a box.
Mariah, 43, captioned it: "My funny Valentine has arrived! #YoureMineEternal I love you @NickCannon (sic)"
Nick then posted a picture of Mariah wearing the diamond studded necklace he and bought her, which was shaped in a heart with 'You're Mine' written inside it.
He then tweeted: "Had to give my beautiful wife a little Valentines Day Surprise! #YoureMine #Diamonds #CandyBra (sic)."

Leonardo DiCaprio wants to play Roosevelt

Leonardo DiCaprio plans to play former US President Theodore Roosevelt for his next film role.
'The Wolf of Wall Street' actor is pushing for a biopic of the 26th leader of the US to go into production with director Martin Scorsese at the helm.
A source told RadarOnline.com: "Leo is telling friends that after his latest movie proved to be a massive box office hit, he's pushing forward with his biopic of Roosevelt which will re-team him with Martin Scorsese.
"He says it's 'now or never' as he's patiently waited almost a decade for the money to materialise."
Leonardo will likely have to bulk out to play the strapping president - who was in office from1901 to 1909 - but the source says he's up for the challenge.
The insider added: "He'll do whatever it takes. This is the movie Leo wants to win an Oscar for, and he talks about it all the time."
The movie will be based on the Pulitzer Prize winning book 'The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt' but some in Leonardo's camp are worried about the appeal of a political movie, after his last real life historical piece, 2011's 'J. Edgar' - about famed former FBI director J. Edgar Hoover - was a flop.

Sharon Osbourne blames herself for Ozzy’s relapse

Sharon Osbourne partly blames herself for Ozzy Osbourne's relapse.
The TV personality kicked her husband out of their home in 2012 and threatened to divorce him when she realised he had relapsed into drink after seven years sober, but on reflection she thinks she should have spotted the warning signs earlier.
She told radio host Larry King: "It was hell - the loneliest three months of my life.
"The frightening thing for me was that I didn't see it. So where was I for a year and a half?
"I was just self-obsessed with my work. I didn't see, so it kind of kicked me in the bum."
Sharon added she found out about Ozzy's relapse on the day before their 30th wedding anniversary after a friend tipped her off.
She added: "He was drinking when he came home, but we lead such busy lives that all I saw was bad behaviour, I never saw the drinking.
"I left him and told him I couldn't go through this again, I just couldn't, and he promised he would work his programme.
"He wasn't going to meetings, he wasn't working his steps, and he slipped, he slipped for a year and a half."
Ozzy, 65, has now celebrated 12 months sober and Sharon, 61, says their union is stronger than ever.
She said: "I cannot imagine life without him. He's fun, very, very funny, he's a very good father, a pushover, he's a softie you know."

Sinitta is godmother to Simon Cowell’s son

Sinitta is godmother to Simon Cowell's newborn son, Eric.
The 'So Macho' singer is a close friend of the TV mogul - and even dated him at the start of her career - and announced she will be godmother to the new arrival, who was born yesterday (14.02.14) in New York to Simon and his girlfriend, Lauren Silverman.
Sinitta wrote on Twitter: "Sitting in. Fancu bar in london with a very handsome man waitinf to hear my God son has been born, bit tipsy, but not ruined..too late to fly (sic)."
The 45-year-old star alluded to the fact she had wanted to fly out for the birth, but had left it too late. However, she said Simon was keeping her informed from the US about how the birth was going.
Simon, 54, had been in the UK filming a new series of 'Britain's Got Talent' but flew to New York on a private jet as soon as he heard Lauren had gone into labour.
He was pictured smoking outside Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan shortly before the baby boy was delivered, weighing six pounds and seven ounces.
Simon later tweeted: "Very happy to say Eric was born at 17.45pm. Healthy and handsome.
"Lauren in great shape. Thanks for all of your kind messages."
The baby is named Eric after Simon's late father, who passed away in 1999.
